I've run out of ideas and I cant seem to generate any other ideas So if you all can help me get some ideas for a game That would help alot thanks in advance.

Ok get this. You're a guy.....yeah a guy thats good. And about......200 NO 300 years ago your family was.... kidnapped by....a team of radioactive, permanently flaming ninjas. The only way to save your family is to pay the ransom money, or train a rooster to fight in the ninja's cockerel fighting arena. Yeah and then you can choose either path, a series of missions gathering money with which to pay the ransom, or a series of rooster training missions.

Use any idea you get if you're out of any others. Sometimes you get more ideas working on a half-assed game idea. Thats how it works with me at least.

Ok ok... So the main characters are two... eskimos... Yeah! They're... err... climbing up a mountain!!! Of course! To... get... eggplants!?... It'll work... And... they have to fight... Vultures... and... polarbears...

Believe it or not, that's been done before.

It's called Ice Climbers.

Seriously, even down to the eggplant (it wasn't eggplant, but some sorta magical plant that you drank)

Meiscool, it was a joke. Seriously, do you have like no sense of humour?


As for an idea, how about you throw a bunch of cliche ideas together and see what you get? You can rescue the princess from the evil overlord who happens to be evil incarnate by getting the elemental crystals and the magic sword from in the pedestal.

Yeah, I know it was a joke, I just thought he might possibly, maybe, just a little tiny bit, sorta not of known about Ice Climbers, and was telling him how ironic it would've been had he not known about it and said the entire plot outline right there.

That'd be pretty cool, but instead of destroying the world take it over with a ray gun that turns your enemies into chickens. If you destory the world, you can't have any fun.

I've actually played a game like this before, you had to take over towns and such, it was pretty cool.

To get ideas, just play games and watch movies, write down any idea that comes to mind. But for the love of god, don't base it off of cliches   :(
