yeah db i see what you mean but you can catch more then one of each class, what about the pc that is gunna b **** hard to program and i think this might be what other pokemon games on rm2k are doing, you cant catch them but you are given different ones at different points

DB's got the right idea, but coding everything will take some serious creativity and experience. Think about it, unique CBS, HM and TM system, a CMS, a working CPU, catch and release system, pokedex... On top of making an actual storyline. You're really gonna have to WANT to do this.

I like the catching and rasising system as well, but if this is made just like the gameboy games, I might as well play them instead of this one.

And I'm pretty sure all the systems in pokemon (menu, battle, pc) are all doible in rm2k/3. Instead of using variables to store the pokemon (you would need around 3000 just to store 150 pokemon data) you could use heros and classes. Make 151 heros (1 for ash or whoever you have and 150 for pokemon), make a class for each evolution stage of each pokemon. When you catch/get a pokemon, check to see which heros have been added to your party yet, add the first one that hasn't been added yet. Change its name to the pokemon name, change its level to the level, and set its class to the pokemon and evelution stage. Then, whenever you want to get stats for that pokemon, you just look up the stats for that hero.

How it is right now is that when you catch a Pokemon its put in your "PC". You have a Laptop that lets you access your PC from most places that have Wireless Internet (IE: Not caves, and the middle of some forests). When you access the pokemon box, it takes you to a CMS where you select  your pokemon and can choose to add/remove it from your party.
