Help with FF4A Child Rydia and Palom & Porom Spirits
« on: January 13, 2008, 07:47:34 PM »
Heya, I've recently been messing around with Visual Boy Advance with Final Fantasy IV Advance and found that has has better graphics than the one on the Super Nintendo. So, I started thinking about some of those graphics being put into RPG Maker 2000 that I have. Some of the graphics that I was interested in were the battle backdrops that game has and I'm not about the best way to get any of them with the battle sprites and monsters on them, and having to remove that stuff in order to properly use them. This is probably not the right forum to ask about that, however, there are a few characters and character portraits that I wanted to try to get from Final Fantasy IV Advance. The one that I have liked the most is what they did with Rydia as a child and wanted to get all the different poses (at least twelve of them) to put into a CharSet for RPG Maker 2000, along with the portrait to go into a FaceSet. The portrait I might be able to do, but I am not sure about the sprites since it seems that the character you control in the game seem to move like their butt is on fire and makes it a bit difficult. The only other ones that I was interested in were Porom and Palom from that same game with the portraits. If there is a good way for me to do this or if you can help, let me know.

in regards to the "butts on fire" do this- while rydia is moving, press alt. alt will pause the emulator meaning that you have a one in two chance of successfully getting the walk frame you want.
