Difficult to explain the thought process that went into these beyond "what pretty thing can I make today!" These are all saved as jpg files, as I can't seem to get Blender to save as a png. For that reason, all the different versions are just links


An all red version
A version using red blue and purple

Could be used for a title screen or a game over screen If you need any particular colours, lemme know. It's a piece of cake to make it any colour scheme, no matter how nauseating.

I can also change the "bubble" shapes a little:
From left to right: Star, Lines, Rings
From left to right: Star+Rings, Lines+Rings, Star+Lines+Rings

Hope people can make use of these.

I couldn't find anything decent to submit so I made something "new":


A much larger version, black background
Larger version with transparent background.

Parchment is always handy, right?

I say "new", but there's probably a billion different versions of parchment on this site alone...

Paper is always good especially in games - backdrops for character info skill lists - pages in a spellbook lots of ideas.

Dang, it's been a while. Paper is boring and easy to make, but yeah, there's so very many uses for the stuff. I created those after looking at a DS game that has a similar effect for the dialogue boxes and thinking to myself "I can do better than that." It turns out I can't. But I gave it a shot


Only got one version of this. Another image suitable for title or game over screens, but probably not so much for battle backgrounds like the one above. If you'd like to make your own, here is the tutorial that taught me how to do this. In case you're wondering, I came to share the vortex one above, noticed the 14 days warning and figured I'd sure as hell better have a butt ton of stuff to share, looked up some tutorials to help me create nifty image and went nuts. All in the hopes any of these will be of any use whatsoever to anyone.
