Get ready for a new year!
« on: December 29, 2004, 02:37:56 AM »
2004 has been a great year for me and I hope it has been the same for you.
Ther has benn many great moives, new friends and many good moments...
But bad moments as well.
The time is just getting faster an faster, it's pretty scary and what can we expect of this new year?
Is there any memory for this year you have that you'd like to share with us, why not?

Well for me 2004 has really been a good year.
A very good gaming year and I hope 2005 will be an even better gaming year for me.
I'm expecting that 2005 will be one of my favorite years... why, I do not know... But I can tell!
And here's my new year vow:
I promise to stick at charas for the whole year and be as active as I can! :bend:

Now make your vow and have happy new year, charas members! :w00t:

Best things of 2004:
- Countless LAN and gaming parties.
- I wasn't caught in a stampede of rampaging, giant, killer, land-dwelling sea snails.
- School was easier than last year.
- Replying to this thread.

Vows to 2005:
- I will finish Fable!
- I will bring down Microsoft! (oops, how did that slip out...)
- I will post at least once on Charas.
- I will call more people Elmore.
- I will eat some more ham.

2004 I think I discovered the best things and worst things in my life. I learnt alot about myself, I went through my own mental depression yet out of it I realise how much I cared about the people in my life and how much they cared for me. I have a brilliant girlfriend and brilliant m8s (top stuff to Razor and shindo for being there through the ****.) I did crap at school....

in 2005 I want to do well at school, make my relationship grow and keep my m8s close. I hope to get closer to my family (who I have detached from)... thats about it... also I want my anime collection to grow...

Hmm...

Bad things from 2004: High school. Seriously, the H stood for "Hell" at the HS I went to...

Good things from 2004: Getting OUT of high school forever with half-decent grades and going to college.

Hm... what to do in 2005? I have no idea. Keep going to college and learn to drive, most likely. I hate trying to "plan" for what I'm going to do in the future, because the more I expect to happen the less actually happens. ::whacks the future with an empty pizza box::

Interesting...

I kind of forgot.
When I finished ToS in 43 hours was a pretty good moment.
And when I sat outside the church with 2 of my buddies eating potato crisps, ice cream and a cake speaking of memories and stuff. It happend twice. XD
That priest really hated us for some reason.
There were alot more good moments but these are only two examples.
And a bad moment was when I got a phone call:

Me: Hello?
Person: Hey, you've won a milloin dollars! Congratulations!
Me: No I havn't.
Person: Yes, you have!
Me: I wouldn't fall for such a stupid trick!
Person: Come on! Are you saying no to a million!?
Me: I havn't won anything, dammit!
Person: Yes, you have!!
Me: I have?
Person: No! XD

He'll pay for that! _veryangry_

Anyways, happy new year again, charas!

Let's see...things to remember over this year...good and bad...

The good things...

+Joining Charas
+Becoming a Mod at Star-Scape
+Getting more contacts on my MSN list
+My game, Dragon Twilight
+School

(I think there are many more, but I can't really remember...)

The bad points...

+My laziness (in a lot of aspects)
+The Nightmare_777 incident
+The loss of my pet cat
+The losses of my grandmother and grandfather
+An occurence of 2 strange habits which I don't seem to be able to get out of
+Late coursework at school

(More too, I think....)

And as for the New Years Vows...

+Get out of the 2 strange habits(damn habits)
+Get at least one demo of my game complete
+Become un-lazy
+Maybe go to the gym and improve my physique
+Recover my rollerblading skill (haven't used rollerblades in ages)
+Sort out coursework problems at school

(And maybe some others)

Have a Happy New Year Charas!!

2004 was the best year ever for me.  A year of enlightenment, wisdom, love and hatred.  In the end, it was really fun.

My vow is try to bump some of that hatred off.  I'm pretty much done already, but hate is bad, and it is unfortunate that I ever recieved it in the First Place.

Also, to gain even more wisdom.  My skills are not yet complete, and I was not made to be a soldier.

I despise this year more than the year my father and mother split up, or the year I got glasses and epilepsy. To hell with 2004. Not to mention my own mini depressions, hardly anything, and the joy ride of being a sufferer of Weregnome's. But that's what you get when you're a best friend.

2005 L be hell too, I imagine, but purely because of school. Year 12. hard work. *shudder*. hard work.

2005 will be a year for me where I can proove that I can not only be a decent webmaster and programmer, but also a good moderator on Pixeltendo. The fact is that moderating for me has become easy because some mods and admins are just abusing bastards.

Oh, and I vow not to moan about the fact that I don't have a girlfriend, or at least until I have my diploma.

2004 was the greatest year in my life. I had a very beautifule girlfriend that understood me and liked me no matter what, I got a job, got invited to a whole lot of quincianeras and weddings. bought lot's of clothes, got high for the first time, discovered Rmk, got a computer. . There's so many I could just go on!

I hope to accomplish many things in 2005, like do my best in school and try to get into a good college, and maybe even finish my game.

Ya know I don't even understand mourning anymore.  After I tried to mourn my grandmother when I was in 5th grade and I was like "god this is such bullshit.  I should be so lucky to be where she is now."

now I don't ever feel bad when someone dies...call me sick or whatever...meh.
