Journey of Heroes 2: Memories of the Past
« on: May 02, 2005, 05:25:31 PM »
Okay, this was my original idea for JOH2, so now that I know how to do it, I'm gonna go and do it now. Anyway, everything is still the same as it was in JOH: Crystals of Chaos. Right now I'm a little busy, or I would post the whole character list. Here's the main storyline, though.

The four heroes are around a campfire and they begin talking about the past and what brought them all together. It's a fun game, because you get to play as each person. In the end, you'll get to play as all four of them together in a final battle to defeat their enemy. I can't give too much away, though. I will tell you this much. It has to deal with why Jessica is a cleric, why Mike is a thief, why Valerie is a mage, and why Zach is a paladin. Also, it deals with the Frequently asked question: "Why do Mike and Valerie call each other bro and sis?"

So, if anyone is interested, I'm working on it now. Hope people play it when it gets done. If I need help, I'll let you know.

Yeah, I'm currently working on it. I have no screenshots, as I just finished with the database lol. Anyway, I've got the whole thing planned out already, so if I need help, I'll let you know. Note: There is HEAVY use of RTP in the game. If you don't like RTP usage, then don't play this, because most of it will be RTP or modified RTP. My reason: No one has been paying attention to any of my requests.

Okay, I've got some work done on it, but then I ran into a small problem. I just realized that I don't have any ideas for anyone's past. I had it all planned out and stuff, but the way I'm gonna end up doing it is different then what I had planned, so now everything has fallen apart again...It might be a while before I get any progress.

I dunno. Right now it's just a game where the people talk about their pasts, and you get to play in their pasts. I don't think it's going to be anything more. I'm not really planning for it to be anything more, so, you know, just as a warning.

There are 3 Journey of Heroes games. I have an explaination about the original Journey of Heroes Saga, and how it came to be this one if you want to hear it. It's kinda long...because it did 3 paragraphs on the GW forum, but the paragraphs weren't that big...not from what I was seeing anyway.

But, to correctly answer the question you asked. I have made 3 Journey of Heroes games, were originally it was meant to be four.

Actually, Paladins do whatever is righteous, honorful, and good, which that is included in. Whenever they do a good deed, their honor increases and the higher their honor the closer they are to what Rakeesh calls the "Universal Rightness" which gives them their powers. BTW< Rakeesh is the Liontaur Paladin from QFG2, QFG3, and QFG5.

Umm...was that "ok" supposed to signify that you wanted to hear the long explaination? I have a problem with figuring out what people mean by ok and stuff...I'm not sure why...but whenever someone says "ok" I always have to ask what they mean by it. So did you mean "okay, I want to hear the explaination" or where you just saying "ok" about what I had said earlier?
