Btchar of Grandy
« on: July 03, 2005, 12:55:07 AM »
Okay, I have a Btchar already, but a generated one that has nothing to do with the char in itself, so I, in my infinite boredon, decided I should make a new one, a sprite-sized one, to be more exact.
I only did 3 animations 'til now, and didn't tested it yet, I'm just posting here so everyone can say how good or bad I am as a spriter.
And I know its very small, sue me, I couldn't resize it.

I bet you guys don't guess what Game's sprite I used as base (no, it wasn't the sprite-sized template).

It's not as impressive as some other people's work, but it's actually not bad. Good job.

As for the base, I would either guess Rudra's Treasure or FF6.

Look at him as he holds things above his head, waters the plants, and spreads seeds!

I mean, is that really how you want your battle charaset to be thought of as?

Bing-Bing-Bing, we have a winner, your prize is a vacation in the Flower festival. Thats right, drink, dance, eat, buy smelly flower with more 6 or so persons for 2 and a half minute (the day is short in that place)

Meh, no, not really, I'll try to edit some frames later to look like he is attacking or something.
And hey, you never know what crazy idea can pop up from your mind while you rpg-make, maybe a job called "Farmer" or something?
Oh, and he isn't spreading seed, he's using an iten, for your information. :]]

Essence, as in what your character is all about. It doesn't try to be uber cool, but the actions are kinda exaggerated and fun - loving, which is what you and your character are.

How about editing the scythe animation to slashing with a sword/dagger?

Some of it is rather annoying, but spritsized is gonna be the way to go soon, so i'll wait to see the finished Grandy.
