Personally, I like Digimon better because it has a better plot and not the 'bad guys get blown away' part.

...
...
Digimon dosn't have a better plot. for the simpal fact that pokemon hasn;'t had a plot ever. No story, no story line, no background story, guess waht, if you liked pokemon in the 90s,i got sad news for you: times have changed.

youk now there's a differance between not HAVING a story and not HAVING a story you like?

And there are cards which can destroy the world. That's just sad.

nah. not sad... there are tons and tons of crds that can counter the few cards that can destroy the world.

its really hard to pull something like that on a skilled player.

Watch your mouth!  God is watching you.  Digimon World 2 is the most retardedly built and shoddily programmed game I've ever seen.  A horrible attempt at an RPG-style Digimon game.

As for what Smo said when we were little kids, yes, that was effin hilarious.  I remember when I kept saying "So which Pokemon would you have sex with?" and you were like "David, shut up you sick boy."

Good times.

Pokemon - Good beggining, getting worse, worse, worse, a little better, worse, better, worse, better, then now that Misty is gone is good again (not that I didn't like Misty, but it needed some changes) I like the new idea of Pokemons with PERSONALITIES, beetwen the 2nd and this season that I already lost hte count, it wasn't "Pokemon", it was a bunch of epsodes were Ash screan "Pikachu! ThunderShok!" and the world is in peace again. In the new epsodes, at least the Pokemon(s) par ticipate a little more.

 Digimon -
1st - Great
2nd - Good
3th - So-So
4th - Meh

"Humans can turn in digimons" is a BAD idea.

Yu-Gi-Oh - In the words of someone:
Theres a problem in changing from Manga to a Anime, because the fight scenes will be too few, the solution is to make they talk more, because, when they do, they won't fight. Noticing that, they made a test with an Anime where they talk about what they'll do in the whole epsiode, in the next one they do, and it worked, they proved people are willing(spelt?) to sit down and hear to someone talking. The nest step will be a program with the stand picture of someone, and a voice in the background reading a Dictionary.

Okay, those aren't the REAL words, but he said something like that. I agree.

Yugi -Kaiba, I'll use now my Celtic Guardian!
Kaiba -Are you sure, Yugi?
Yugi -What you mean 'Are you sure?'
Kaiba -I'm aking you if you're really sure you want to do that move.
Joe Willer (who isn't even playing, but thinks he has the right to talk as well) -He's lying Yugi, theres nothing he can do!
Kaiba -Shut up, Willer.
Yugi -I must trust in my friends and in my un-animated deck in what I believe has a soul or something and can shift cards ,to make me choose the right one, I play my Celtic Guardian!
Kaiba -I use my trap card The Horrorific Horror of the Horroric Subworld of Horror! Say goodbye to your card!
Yugi -Noooo!
Tea -Noooo! Yugi!
Willer -Arrh!
Tristan (doesn't even know whats happening)- Noo!
Grandpa -Yugi, use the card I gave you!
Yugi -Which one? You gave me the entire deck!
Grandpa -You know, the Card!
Kaiba -My turn, then, I summon my Ghost Clown of Charas! Since he has many powers, that I will tell you so you can think in a way to counter-attack, I can strike first!
Yugi -Ahh!
(Points - 200)
Kaiba - Your turn.
*Yugi starts to think with himself and his otherself for 15 minutes of "how I'll beat him", and notices that theres only one card that can save him in the whole world, and luckly, he has one, and, luckly, its the one he gets*
Yugi -Kaiba, you really thought you won? I use the power of the Cristal Necklace of 1337 Ressurection to bring back my celtic guardian, then I kill him again (Celtic Guardian: Uh?) and summon my almighty-mighty-mighty monster! The Mage of West Bilgu-Bilgu!
Willer -Yeah, Go Yugi!
Yugi -Shut up, Willer!
Kaiba -Oh, no!
Yugi -Mage of West Bilgu-Bilgu, use your special ability to bring back Celtiv Guardian, then I sacrifice him again (Celtic G - WTF?!) and use my other magic card to make the Mage of West B-B even stronger! Attack, Mage of West Bilgu-Bilgu!
tMoWB-B - *uses something that looks like a big Hadouken*
--End of the episode--

 See what I mean?

Grandy, that was about the most hilarious thing ever.  The sad thing is, that's almost exactly like one of the episodes.  Where Yugi fights that creepy ghost Kaiba.

I was almost writing 3 apisodes, but then I thought it was too much ^_^
Just change the monsters and you have a new episode, they do the same thing all the time.

EDIT: Its late, I have nothing to do, and I'm not sleepy. That means I'll actually write a little more of You-Guy-Ouch!.

 --In the next Epsiode--
 tMoWB-B: *still attacks*
*The cave where they are (Yes, they are in a cave, don't ask me why, but they aways do, or in a high place) starts to shake*
Kaiba: *blinks* (he does nothing, only blink or talk as how he will finish you in the next time)
 Joe: How's that possible?
Kaiba & Yugi: Shut up, Willer!
Joe: No, really, I mean, its just an hologram, how can a hologram make things shake?
 *No one pays attention*
Yugi: Kaiba, you only have now 100 points, give up!
Kaiba: Oh, but I use my special card: Curaga! And when I use this card togeter with the power of my White Mage, my points will go really up!
 Yugi: Its 300 points now...
 Kaiba: More than you.
Yugi: Point. But I still have my Mage of West Bilgu-Bilgu!
Kaiba: Not anymore, Yugi, for I use the power of my card, the Destroyer of Mages of West Bilgu-Bilgu! Say goodbye to your Mage of West Bilgu-Bilgu, Yugi!
(Everyone else: Nooo!)
Yugi: Not so fast! *points finger to Kaiba while talks* I activate my trap, the Destroyer of Destroyers of Mages of West Bilgu-Bilgu!
(Everyone else: Yay!)
Kaiba: Fufufu (is like THIS how they laught in there? Strange country), Yugi, you make me laugh, I use my other card, the Destroyer of Counter-Magic Anti-Destroyer of Mages of West Bilgu-Bilgu!
(Everyone else: Nooo!)
Yugi: But I use my other card, the Compass of No-Where! It turns my Mage of West Bilgu-Bilgu in a Mage of NORTH-WEST Bilgu-Bilgu!
(Everyone else: Yay!)
Kaiba: Well, I use my other card, the Kill-All-Enemy-Monters! It kill all your monsters!
Joe: Why he didn't used that in first place?
 Everyone else: Shut up, Willer!
Yugi: Now that my Mage of North-West Bilgu-Bilgu is dead, I can bring back my Celtic Guardian! Now, I sacrifice my Celtic Guardian! (CG: *sweat drop*) to allow me to bring back the Celtic Guardian! (WTH?! What was I smoking when I wrote this? Seriously, this got me as well.) Attack, Celtic Guardian!
 Kaiba: My monster is stronger....
 *Celtic Guardian dies*
Yugi: I know I just didn't like that guy.

Hahaha. The first season of Digimon was great. I just wish the last battle was more epic. Killing the last enemy in one episode was really a turn off. BUt I liked it anyway.

Pokemon... meh, the games are emotionless and just play drab, there is no real raising, it's just catch, blah and blah... not even worth the RPG title, and it hasn't changed. Still the same old crap with the boring diologues and the same fighting gym masters... COME ON, how meaningless can a kid's life be? Where's the struggle!? Where's the emotion!? Why am I yelling these questions!?

The advantage Digimon has over Pokemon is visual effects and somewhat better character design, they are struggling for their life and the Digimon, against the Pokemon, have more personality and actually talk instead of repeating their name like an idiot. The other advantage that Digimon has is that things have a certain mortality, they can die instead of being beaten and pass out. And as mentioned, the characters' lives are at stake, not just some retarded tournament. And as a bonus in Digimon you can digivolve but they can change back easily instead of just staying stuck in one form, and each form has it's own uniqueness. Plus names in Digimon have more complexity. In digimon the names tend to be more kiddy, simplistic, and overall lack creativity.

Now the rarely mentioned third title, Demikids. The reason this game is a turn off for some is for religous reasons... but it's a rather grat game, instead of stupidly named monsters you have more familiar creatures, like Cockatrice and Anubis, and even the angel Michael! In Demikids you speak with demons to get them to join you, you have a Demonary (Data on demons who join and who you've fought) as well as storage for demons when you get too many.

The ways of making demons stronger is a tad complicated and pricey if you want to use the time trainers, who are most reliable. Btw, Demon in the Megaten series is anything that isn't from the human realm and isn't exactly human. This even includes dragons and other such beasties.

As for the story, it revolves around time and rips in time space, and ultimately there is a final boss and I thing alternate endings. The struggle is to stop the rips and stay alive. Also you at a point lose touch with your friends and they eventually end up in the clutches of the Empire (bad guys).

Enough yap though. Out of the three, I'd definetly say Demikids (Digital Devil Children in Japan) is quite better. And for those more adult gamers there's the Shin Megami Tensei series, where people and demons get slaughtered, and blood gets shed. Thet are all Megaten btw and are all by Atlus.
