*Seth is back at his computer. He presses a key on his keyboard, and a window with the group picture of the Ancient Miscreations opens.*

-Seth: Four down... *He strikes out Des, Jothai, Warxe and a shadowy four-armed figure*

-Maid: Someone's here to see you, sir.

-Seth: Send them in.

-???: ...you thought you could get rid of me...

*Seth turns around, and sees the barrel of a rifle. Terranon is holding the gun.*

-Seth: ...you...

-Terranon: Time to say good night, little man... *She pulls the trigger, and fires a bullet right into Seth's head. He falls down, limp.*

*Back in the limbo*


-Jothai: ...so this is... the end...

*Des and Warxe appear*

-Warxe: It got you too?

-Des: It was bound to happen. Stopping a body's clock will eventually result in this.

-Jothai: I will not die...

-Des: No. You will remain with us, and continue watching over Earth. You will not be able to achieve your goals, so there is no point in fighting with us.

*A four-armed man appears*

-Fo'rsh: And when the time's right, we'll come back.

-Jothai: ...right time?

-Warxe: You'll know.

-Jothai: ...my head... *He dissolves into black fluid, but a ghostly version of his body appears.*

-Fo'rsh: The Four Horsemen ride again. *all four of them disappear*

*Suddenly and inexplicably, Hope wakes up, sits up and screams. The others wake and try and stop her, but she continues for about two minutes before falling silent*

Tamamo: ... So he is dead then... Or at least half dead. His link with Hope is broken.

Hope: ... I feel... Alone.

Neon: Uuhh... Don't we all?

Hope: I need Daryl! *She starts to cry*

Tamamo: Oh hell... Is she going to be making a noise the entire time? Where's aoi, anyway?

[Darkfox]

Aoi: I'm right here... *holds her head* I remember a darkness... but... I can't remember much of anything else... my head hurts...

Neon: I think I lost my non-aspirin headache medicine in limbo...

*Back in Kyoto*

-Maid: You... killed him...

-Terranon: *looks at the maid* ...don't make me kill you too... just do what I say... and I'll spare you...

-???: Away, demon.

*Seth gets up. His body is covered in an aura that shifts from yellow-tan to black to blue to red and back.*

-??? *His voice is distorted, but it sounds like Des'*: You have no place here. Touch that woman, and you'll be sorry.

-??? *Another voice comes from Seth's body, it sounds like Jothai's*: Remember, I know all your secrets...

-???: *Yet anoher voice, this one sounds old and wise*: We have the power to completely destroy you, and send your soul back to the depths of Hell.

-Terranon: Wha.. how...

-??? *old man*: The Four Horsemen ride again.

*Seth points at Terranon, and fires a small beam of radiant light. Terranon's body dissolves on contact.*

-Maid: Who are you?

-??? *Des*: It would be more proper to ask "Who are we?".

-Maid: ..master Des?

-??? *Jothai*: We've taken this body, since a soul isn't occupying it.

-??? *Sounds like a young man*: Seth is still around. He won't leave that easily.

-??? *Des*: In any case, we will be back. Just keep tending this place, as if me or Seth still physically live here.

-Maid: ...yes sir.

*Seth, or rather Des, Jothai, Fo'rsh and Warxe (now known as Seth) disappear.*

Neth: *reaches the place of destruction* Nothing is here... was I too late? HAKEE! I hate being late. Simply rubbish is left, not even a single living thing...

*The scene is a shiny room that looks like a control room; there's a lot of metallic desks with phones and computers on them, and lots of people running around.*

-Lt.: Updates! I need updates!

-Guy: Sir! We've lost track of Jothai! And since we were using him to get to Hope, we don't know where she is either!

-Lt.: Send a recon team to London immediately! We can't lose her!

-Guy: Yes sir! *runs off*

-Guy 2: Sir! We've just detected a massive bioenergy spike in Kyoto! And Field Unit 2 isn't responding!

-Lt.: What is it?

-Guy 2: We're not sure. But we think something possessed the assassinated's corpse.

-Lt.: Se'kedes?

-Guy: It's not big enough to be just him. I think it might be all 4 of them.

-Lt.: Oh god... Alert the Defense Team to begin Operation Make-the-base-submersible-and-mobile! And put the energy barrier up!

-Guy 2: Right away, sir! *runs off*

-Lt.: Any more updates?

-Guy 3: There's been another spike! This time it's in central Australia!

-Lt.: Is it as big as the one in Kyoto?

-Guy 3: No sir.

-Lt.: Keep an eye on it, but don't worry about it too much. We have more important things to worry about.

[Darkfox]

*A girl with green hair, blue eyes wearing glasses and a scientist's uniform walks up, she's around 5ft and has fair skin, on her neck is a prison collar*

: Can I please take a break, I've had no sleep in the last two weeks... I like my work, but I have limits too you know...

-Lt.: No, we have no time for breaks! Grab another Adrenaline Pill and keep working!

*The room starts shaking*

[Intercom: Sir! The base is submerged and mobile!]

-Lt.: Good! Keep going down!

[Intercom: But sir, we're already at 1000 feet.]

-Lt.: The hull'll hold to about 6000. So go to 5000, just to be safe.

[Intercom: Yes sir!]

-Guy 4: Not to question your orders, sir, but if the energy spike is in fact a living thing, I think it'll be able to withstand 5000 feet of pressure.

-Lt.: Yes, but the energy barrier cannot be deactivated externally. It just absorbs whatever's sent at it. So they'll eventually be crushed.

-Guy 5: But what if they just teleport into the base?

-Lt.: Then we'll be ready. I want everyone who's combat-ready to grab a rifle and get prepared to fire at will. That's an order! Any questions?

-Guy 4 and 5: No sir! We'll do it now, sir! *They run off*

[Darkfox]

: This is madness! And what exactly am I building!?

-Lt.: Hmm... worker 592... You're working on a top-secret weapon that will *cue evil organ music and echoing voice* DESTROY MANKIND AS WE KNOW IT! *dun dun DUN!*

-Guy 7: ...huh? Where'd that organ music come from?

-Lt.: Not quite a weapon of mass destruction, but an incredibly focused laser that can pierce any known material. And it's almost done, and you'll probably be killed by the Miscreations that storm this place, so don't wory about it.

-Guy 7: Lieutenant, the Mistress is calling you!

-Lt.: Very well.

-???: Lieutenant, I do not remember authorizing the act of submerging and mobilizing the headquarters.

-Lt.: Well, uh...

-???: You didn't have my authorization.

-Lt.: No, I didn't.

-???: Do you know how I tolerate that kind of behavior?

-Lt.: Please, spare me! I promise I'll get your authorization next time!

-???: Begging. A man such as yourself has resorted to begging to try and get off? I can't believe I gave you such a rank...

*A flash of green light illuminates the room. Two heavily-armed men walk out, and drag the dead lieutenant to a back room.*

-???: Promote S-50-B to Lieutenant.

[Computerized Voice: Completed.]

[Darkfox]

: *watches them carry his corpse off* Well, seems you won't be even living that long... hmmmm... if only I could get closer...

-Guard: Hmm? *looks over at the woman* You! Worker! Get back to work before I cut your pay and rations!

[Darkfox]

: You wouldn't do that... because if my production decreases, you will be the one to blame... and you wouldn't want that now would you? And what pay? *walks back*

-Guard: And, of course, you realize that you're expendable, and we can replace you in an instant with one of those sein workers.

*A woman steps into the control room. She has long, light blue hair spiked on the top and with Sephiroth-style bangs in the front, and a metallic ring around her left eye. She's wearing a loose green dress and an open white robe over.*

-Woman: I'm your new Lieutenant.

-Guy: Oh... you're one of those sein people, aren't you?

*The woman walks up to the guy, and grabs him by the collar. She lifts him into the air.*

-Woman: Treat your superiors with respect. *She throws him down, then turns to the rest.* I will not tolerate disrespect. Is that clear?

-All: Yes ma'am!

-Woman: For those of you who don't know me, my name is sein S-25-B, but you will address me as Lt. Tink.

-Guy 2: Are you aware of the current situation, ma'am?

-Tink: Tell me.

-Guy 2: Currently, there is a massive energy source in Kyoto. An assassin was dispatched there eariler to kill one "Seth", but we believe that the deceased Ancient Miscreations have possessed his body. There has also been a spike in central Australia, but to a lesser extent.

-Tink: Any immediate threats?

-Guy 2: No, ma'am.

-Tink: Monitor both sources, and if there is any change in threat level, notify me immediately.

-Guy 3: Also, we are searching for the Miscreation "Hope." We cannot find her, because the one we were using to track her disappeared without a trace. Her current location is somewhere in the UK, and we've sent a recon team to try and find her.

-Tink: Very good. Notify me if you find her.

-Guy 4: Incoming transmission!

*A holographic screen appears. Seth's face appears on-screen.*

-Des *A translucent image of Des' face appears over Seth's*: This... is the Pest Control Headquarters, is it not?

-Tink: How did you get access to this channel?

-Fo'rsh: We have our ways...

-Warxe: We want to let you know that we oppose your idea of moving all the Miscreations back to our homeworld. They were born here, and this is their home.

-Des: It is your choice to persuade the weak-minded to join you, and we will not stop you for that. But you kill one more innocent person, and we will destroy all of you. Understood?

-Tink: We will not bargain with the likes of you.

-Jothai: You do not value your lives, then... I can arrange to take them away...

-Des: All we want is peace. Stop trying to force them to leave, or else we will force you to stop. That is a warning.

-Tink: Hmmph. Do what you want, but you know you can't destroy us.

-Warxe: Maybe... but we can still take out a big chunk of your organization.

-Jothai: 24 hours... you choose against us, and we will come for you...

*The hologram disappears.*

-Tink: I want a SWAT team sent to Kyoto immediately.

-Guy 3: Right away, ma'am!

*a call comes in*

Neth: Yes, hello... seems I lost track of Jothai... how lame is that? Oh wait... did I hear he was in Kyoto? Bloody hell, I came all this way for nothing? You know how cranky I get when I'm led on wild goose chases...
