DL: *sweatdrop* Is that the only spell you know...? *sigh* Dark Art 375... Repulsion Technique... *breaks free again* you really take the team out of teamwork... my Dark Knights are well more disciplined in the art of combined efforts than yourselves... it seems that each of you have a separate goal. SHOCKWAVE! grah! *swings his sword with a lot of strength sending a strong distortion across the ground*

-Des: Pull back!

-Jothai: RIFT WAVE! *He opens a small dimensional rift, which absorbs the distortion and closes.*

-Des: STOP TIME! *He holds his hand out, and DL fades to a dark color.*

-Fo'rsh: He has a point. We need to work as a team.

-Jothai: And Warxe needs to stop using the same friggin spell over and over again...

-Warxe: Well... that's the strongest spell I have...

-Ice Creature: Pff... Here, take this.

*He hands Warxe an amulet.*

-Ice Creature: That'll give you some stronger spellage. Now, if you'll excuse me... *disappears*

-Jothai: He has no right to tell us that our teamwork is incomparable to his... we fight our own way, and it works...

-Des: Actually, it doesn't. We haven't even hurt him.

-Warxe: What do we do?

-Fo'rsh: Strategize. Set priorities. Jothai, you'll teleport around and distract him. Des, you'll absorb his attacks and use them to power us up. Warxe, you cast whatever limited-area spell you get from that amulet. And I'll attack him head-on and parry his attacks. Fair?

-Des: We can try it at least. RUN TIME! *DL starts moving again*

*Jothai teleports to the right of DL, and throws his raven swords at DL. o'rsh runs up to DL, adn starts attacking him.*

-Warxe: Uh... COLD FLARE!

*Mlutiple little chunks of ice strike DL, exploding on contact and scattering ice shards everywhere.*

DL: *swings his hand at the incoming swords* Urg! I see your finally strategizing, but I would caution on scattering spells. I'm optimistic on your attempts, let us see how our willpower and strengths match up! *swings his free fist at Fo'rsh* STRENGTH, HEART, and LEADERSHIP these are some elements of more perfective unisen... along with them are HONOR and TRUTH... this is a knight's vocabulary!

*Fo'rsh jumps back*

-Fo'rsh: Knight's vocabulary. Perhaps once our duel is done, we'll learn a bit about that. But for now...

-Warxe: Wait, I've got it! Fo'rsh, Jothai, get out of there! COLD FUSION!

*The area around DL distorts, and basketball-sized spheres of energy attach to his armor. After a few seconds, each sphere explodes with decent force, then for no apparent reason an icicle stalagmite appears out of the ground and nearly impales DL.*

-Des: Now THAT's more like it.

-Fo'rsh: Don't give him a chance to counter! SHADOWBRAND! *He charges his four weapons with dark energy, then throws them all simultaneously at DL*

-Jothai: I haven't used that in years.... SHADOWBRAND! *He does the same thing*

-Des: MEOTWISTER! *He grabs his two demon teeth and fires small pieces of crystalline mineral from them. Each chunk rotates around DL, creating a miniature tornado, then they slam into him, sending him high into the air. Jothai's and Fo'rsh's Shadowbranded weapons continue flying up.*

*A fennec kitsune scurries out to curiously watch the attack*

Fennec Kitsune (a small paleish tan kitsune with big ears and nine puffy tails): Eyo?

Dark Lord: Urghh! That is more like it... *is hit by the multiple attacks and begins his decent*

Fennec Kitsune: Uh? *Dark Lord's shadow is cast over the hapless furball*

Dark Lord: Ugh... huh...?

Fennec Kitsune: *looks up* What's going o...? Agh! *shrieks and curls up*

Dark Lord: *just as he gets ready to make impact he stops himself with his hand and throws himself aside preventing himself from squashing the nine-tailed miscreation*

-Warxe: ...?

-Des: You're more honourable than I thought, Guardian.

-Jothai: Get! *He walks up and motions to kick the kitsune, but gets blasted back by a wave of dark energy*

Dark Lord: Urgh... *gets up* It is never right to bring harm to an innocent, another word in the Knight's vocabulary is to protect, and thus is my duty as a Guardian... *the kitsune scurries off*

-Des: ...you were sent by Pest Control, weren't you?

-Fo'rsh: They do not wish to protect, they only wish to kill and destroy.

-Jothai: You can do better than them... you are a knight, not a mercenary.

Dark Lord: I agreed to this for the sheer reason that, as it has been shown, your goals tend to sparse out. We have Mr. Seek n' Destroy here *points at Jothai* who's lack of sympathy has the potential of future troubles, and then there's your mage who needs to be a more careful aim with his spells. But I'll admit that you got me on that last attack, but can you be sure you won't trip up on each other the next time? Some things to think on. And no, I do not work for Pest Control, one known as "Mistress" summoned me.

-Des: ..mistress? *He puts a hand to his head, and black fluid starts leaking from under his fingernails*

-Jothai: Mistress... Noi used to call herself that.

-Fo'rsh: Yes. Mistress Noirija... *Scars open on his hands, each spewing out black fluid*

-Warxe: Aw, damnit, guys! Why did you have to go and remember that?

-Des: Why aren't you affected, Warxe?

-Warxe: Huh? I dunno...

-Jothai: ...ugh. *His body dissolves into black fliud, folowed shortly by Des' and Fo'rsh's.*

-Warxe: *looks around* Er... uh... I'm going to be leaving now... *disappears*

Dark lord: ...? What happened...? Mistress Noirija...? Hmmmm... *does an honorable hand signal, like a cross* May the morning light shine vigurously and the night's darkness bless the sleepers (the phrase is in the works). *he fades down into the ground as he did before teleporting away*

-Guy: Lieutenant! The energy spike in Kyoto has just disappeared!

-Tink: ...already? (That guy must be pretty darn powerful.) Good. How about the spikes in Australia and South Africa?

-Guy: The Australian one is on the move. The South African one - there's at least two unique energy signatures there - seem very similar to the Ancient Miscreations - perhaps more of them?

-Tink: Great... Well, maybe we can get them to join us before they are corrupted by Se'kedes and his group. Resurface, and prepare a light aircraft. I want to check it out for myself.

-Guy: Yes ma'am! *grabs a phone*

-Soldier 3: Lieutenant! Dark Lord has returned!

-Tink: Good. Take me to him.

[Darkfox]

Dark Lord: *rubbing his chin leaning against a wall* ...Mistress Noirija...? A black death...? *notices Tink is coming then stands up, some damage on his armor is still visible*

-Tink: You took them out that quickly? I'm impressed. The Mistress will likely want to know what happened, so I'll take you to her.

-???: Inpressive, Guardian. I underestimated you... your pay is equivalent to 1,000,000,000 American dollars, in any currency you choose...
