If it's the sprites you need, then there are a lot of people who can help with resources. The only difficulty is, you'd need separate animations for each direction, with every different weapon for every single recruitable character in the game. Which might take a lot of work. :)

The Editor is saying "Runtime Error 1512 - Display is not supported by available hardware at line 0". Which apparently means my graphics card is too crappy. I'm installing DirectX9, just to be sure. My computer has a habit of saying it's the hardware when it's really the software that has a problem. XD

EDIT: Okay, so I set my resolution to the same as you said the program needs, and it still says the hardware sucks. I have DirectX9, so that isn't the problem. How much memory does your graphics card have? Mine only has 8MB, so that's probably why it can't run.

Exactly... and every user of my editor would need to do the same thing, it's impossible :p Too much work for them, and the obligation for game creators to do such sprites. I want it to be as easy as possible to create games, it's the first of my preoccupations about my editor. I want to make animations without changing the basic sprites, just adding a weapon that moves next to the character. The hardest thing to do is making it good looking.

It is possible that I make a version of the game with Playbasic, and it will work on almost any computer, faster and better. The biggest problem is that it does not support multiplayer and I want to make it multiplayer for the $ version. I think I will make a version of both Darkbasic Professionnal and Playbasic. So when it'll be done, Playbasic version, I will announce it. I don't know when it will be done.

EDIT: Meh, just noticed that my resolution seems to be stuck on 800x600. Just a suggestion, but how about a version in a different resolution? That way, more people can use it.

I thought about it... and it would be SO long. The code needs coordinates for texts, and I would need to make coordinates for 800x600 every time I make modifications. And I don't think it's a majority who can't have 1024x768. But, it's possible that I make the 2 versions.

And another thing... if you guys could say if the game works on your computer and how well it works, it would help me a lot. If everyone has problems, it will be sure I'll make a Playbasic version. DB Professionnal has too big system requirements.

Yes, for sure. I really want to put games made by others on my site for download. I will make a list of games created by users of my editor. It will show what can be done with my editor.

I've tried all the resolutions my computer can manage, and all possible BPP's, but nothing seems to work, so I guess I can't try it. Sorry.

It's almost a definitive decision : I will translate my game in Playbasic. I see that almost half of the people who try my game has problems with this DB Pro version. And it will be 800x600 to fit the maximum of users.
