That's easy!
Mathematically, use a yardstick and find the size of the actual stick and it's shadow. Then, measure the building's shadow. Find the ratio between both shadows, use that ratio to find the actual size of the building. During different times of day, the shadow will get larger/smaller. In order to avoid this, do this process quickly.
(This actually works, if you wanna get technical. Learned it, like, last year.)
