About new sections
« on: October 15, 2005, 08:48:05 PM »
When you want a new section for one of the generators, there are a few requirements.

First, make sure the section really doesn't fit the other sections. This means that if the body doesn't fit at least 50% of all types (head, hair, suits, items), it is as good as a go.

Then, it is best to ask Alex if it is okay to create it. It isn't really required though, but it would be a shame if you did all of that for shizzle.

Next, make sure you have enough resources. Now what is enough? Let's make a short list.

Body: At least one, but two at the least are prefered.
Head: Five is good enough, but also make some varieties, not only colour swaps.
Hair: At least two varieties, or for one variety at least enough to make different types of characters with different hair.
Suits: At least five different ones, though one is sufficient, it appears.
Items: Three is enough, as long as it is at least one.

This is from what I remembered. If you still aren't sure, ask Alex.

The final step is obviously submitting it. How? By posting Alex an e-mail with an attachment or a download link to the zip file. Also, a text file containing who did what is nice too.
