SW Battlefront II
« on: October 31, 2005, 05:08:51 PM »
Okay, I'll be skipping the second half of class, my friend will have the whole day off of work. We both have it pre-ordered and will meet up at about noon-1pm tomorrow to begin whoopin up.

Any other truants out there?

I didn't realize how much anticipation was behind this game until I saw commercials for it on TV, and I don't see that happen very much.

I'm not big in the online gaming anymore. Its full of little jerks who think they're the sh!t and can talk trash about somebody because they are miles away.

yeah, people tend to generalize nerdity. However I'm beginning to percieve a difference between the different types.

For example, you have the fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons type nerds. Within those nerds you have even more hardcore nerds who actually think they are casting spells and stuff.
Then you have the Science Fiction nerds. They can be mistaken for the fantasy nerds, but the main difference is that these nerds believe in the "logical" and everything has an explaination.
Both of these types tend to believe that others are below them.

And of course you have computer nerds, comic nerds, video game nerds, etc etc.

eventually you start travelling into the "dweeb" and "dork" department...

But I generalize things a little differently: People are stupid. Period.

D&D nerds >.<
Those freak me out. Real life Role-playing games...
Or Sci-fi nerds with their Star-Trek conventions.

Ah. thats because you are a crossbreed of nerd-lines. fantasy and sci-fi don't mix as well, hence your not as harcore with either.

I picked up my copy at 9pm last night, and the game is pretty cool. Space is a little hard to get used to. I was killing my own guys when I played as Ki Adi Mundi in the first Rise of the Empire level.
