The sprites look neat.  I dunno if I'd ever be able to do that because I don't have enough patience.

 Too bad, because I'm placing Grandy in ahiatus right now until I make some sprites of my other character. =D



 Those of you who may pay attention to my posts may recognize him as Devon, and there's more! Now I atually thought for a last name for him! He's Devon Firefly. "Firefly" being given to him by himself.

 What was that? Oh, no, his name was not a reference to some 'popular' show which I never heard about until White told me, but which I still never saw or heard again. His name is just a sum of his two powers. Guess which they are?

 See those things in his arms? They're gauntlets with teeny holes, microscopic even, which release in the atmosphere a HIGLY FLAMABLE gas.

 He controls the gauntlets by applying pression inside them with his arms. And can change the direction and even the pressure in which the gas is liberated. The gas combusts by just touching the atmosphere, so, ya, instant fire.

 Now about the sprite. I'm actualy proud of ow it ended up looking.
 One of the hardest things while trying to sprite Devon is his face, see, there's three things about his face:

 1 - His eyes are aways wide open, and he seems scared at all times. His eyes are also aways partially hidden below his hair.
 2 - He is aways grinning. Not smiling, grinning.
 3 - He is supposed to look like a psycho.

 I never really thought about his hair, and originally he wore shorts and nothing above the waist, but I think this is better.

 Also, his pose is awkward, yes. Then again, he is an awkward person.

 Fun stuff to know:
  He is a very musical character! Look:
 - His powers and background were based in the lyrics of "Fire in The Sky" by Ozzy Ousborne
 - His voice (at least how I portrait it) is just like the high-pinched guy in DDR's S.M.O.K.E.
 - A great number of his attacks were tought while hearing various clips, which have no relaction with the attack itself other that I think better when I'm hearing music.


 Miscellaneous:
 -His lucky number is 4
 -If he ever were in a band, he'd most likelly be the guitarrist (c'mon now, look at him, he just screams guitarrist)
 -There is another metal plate in his back, below his clothes, the holes in that one are much bigger, and can be fired to make fake wings which resamble that of a dragonfly, those are huge wings that give him stability while flying, but do not lift him off ground, a third smaller hole in his plate works as an jetpack and this one is the one which lifts him from the ground. The fire in this one can't be seen, though.
 - His clothes are fireproof.

The way you sell your sprites these days makes it sound like they're the best thing since sliced mammoth, which makes it harder to like them, believe it or not.


It is pretty good though. His arms are a little weird.
