En, story's not important. Look at God of War. It had a very simple and unchanging storyline, and everything was focused on gameplay. But, look at it's gameplay! I had a freakin orgy watching him rip that **** apart.

Yeah, then look at star ocean: till the end of time, awesome gameplay and good graphics, but one bad plot twist and it ruined the game for a lot of people.

The gameplay ins't going to be all that great in an rm2k3 game, and the graphics are gonna suck compared to a modern game. Though gameplay and good visuals will greatly help a rm2k3 game, without a good story, you won't have a good rpg game.

Ok how about his:

Not too long ago, there were 5 races on a planet.
[1]human beings
[2]ogres
[3]Elves
[4]Kobalds
[5]Demons

Of course, the five races lived in peace and harmony and created 5 diamonds for each race, each containing powerful magic, and when combined, a very powerful force. But they were all equal in power, so no orb was stronger than the other, they were equal in power. but they could not combine pairs of diamonds, or even 3 to aquire power, ALL of the diamonds had to be combined to release it's full power.
Ok, so they lived in peace and harmony until a man named Hernandez grouped together a few followers to obtain all of the diamonds. Of course, Hernandez is from the Human Race, and decided a takeover with some followers. He starts invading some villages and aquires 1 diamond from the ogres.
Ok amnisha is from the Elve race, and one day with her friend are out exploring in the woods. THey are attacked by humans and her friend is killed by a human. She escapes to her house, and finds her older brother dying. In a last breath, he tells her the story of the diamonds and how Hernandez must never aquire all of them. He gives it to her and she gains powers. Her brother dies, and amnisha decides to escape the elve village and hide. She hides for a while, then she decides it is her duty to help other races fight against Hernandez and his takeover.

And from there, it's up to you.

DUDE you gotta be creative, try different things, think about different things don't just go with the first thing that pops into your head.

i love making maps. im just asking for a mapmaker to make a dungeon or something. If u guys listen for once, i cant make traps n stuff... i cant make keys that work or cliffs that u can jump from. so thats why i need a mapper, cuz it woud be easier to script and code a map u made urself.. so if someone woud like to make one of the dungeons to the game tell me (and now listen i dident ask about who dident want to make it so no coments like ''noone have time with ur prodject'' or something like that) im asking for help here, not asking u to tell me how lazy i am cuz i only can map make stories and events in game. now anyone wanna help me? (ps. DB.. ur Dargons world website link wont wrok)

ok ur story is good but not for my game... Demons are the enemies and Hernadez is a Demon 2. here is the racesbelow. and remember its a special request dungeon and boss for each race until u finally meet Hernadez.(i also put em in the order u help em)

1. Rechoit (the kind Amnisha is.. the loke and are like human exept they have magical powers and can transform into other creatures if they have a peace of their DNA
2.Elves
3.Dwarfs
4.Seaflares (seahimans like Zora in zelda)
5.Fairies
6.Nekoshan (kind like cathumans)
7.Orcs
8.Kobalds
9.Minotaur
10.Dragon
11.Human

but u dont only go straight into the dungeons.. u have to do mini quests and stuff just to get to the place... and city attacks and stuff.... If u wnna complain on the races dont do like ''not orcs they are evil'' or ''Kobalds suck'' ok?

Show us a picture of what maps you've made. Not to get a little full of myself here, but I think of my ability to make maps as above adverage, and, in the event that I even considered to do this for you, I wouldn't wanna stick low class maps with mine in the event that you maps suck. It would just make things look to weird.

And like.... wouldn't dragons just realize they are the best and pwn everyone?

Edit: Oh, and as to the r2k3 not having good gameplay, it's hard to make happen, but very possible, especially with a well make CBS or ABS.  And yeah, that twist did ruin star ocean. I'll agree 100% on that.

I was listening, I just thought by an expresion like OMG I am not mapping, that you weren't planning on doing anything.

Anyway, I can't really help much with mapping right now, but if you need anything coding, just ask me and I'll walk you through how to do it.

Humans can be pretty sneaky though.. Anyway, to balance the power out, you just need to make dragons a little smaller (like horsed sized), or just make fewer of them. Theres stregnth in numbers, and if dragons don't have high numbers, well..

 The whole point of it was that it wasn't as cliche'd, add a little twist you know? But whatever, it's your game. For coding on maps like to jump off of cliffs is simple like just make an event under the hero and make it get started by the decision key, then jump (move character) end jump and make sure the checkbox that says "ignore if impossible" so you can move on chips that aren't walkable, but you have to land on a chip that is, do you get me? That's probably the easiest way to make a simple jump

Oh sorry about that ZONIC, I didn't quit understand what you meant at first.

You can use those sprites if you want, but besides minor editing, the only ones I really made where the ones in armor. So if you don't use them, theres no need to credit me. I'm working on updated ones now because the ones in that old demo are about a year and a half old by now, the updated ones will look better and each color will have differant armor.

I didn't quite understand what you were saying really, did you want to show me the leader of each of the races?

And yes, making maps is pretty funny. I mean, just the other day, I swear one of my maps started talking to me.

And like, what exactly did you copy from his game. Ideas, or the CBS, or what?
