Why do you block websites that are not advertising other rpg maker websites?

Dude I posted a link to my website. All thats on it is screenshots of my game im making (so I can keep track of them), a link to a fellow charas members game site (like mine, if you look you can tell that we have been helping each other.), and a link to charas! So why do you block it? A little bit ago some posted a link to there website for there game, and you know what surprised me? It wasnt blocked! It was like mine (except mine doesnt have as much on it). Im not advertising other RPG sites, so I figured you wouldent block it. I understand why you block sites: to keep, what im guessing, porn out, keep spam out, and opposing rpg sites. Dont get me wrong, im not saying Charas is a bad site, in fact if it wasnt for this site I probley wouldent be using RPG maker. I mean, im kinda advertising Charas if you think about it. lol even opposing RPG sites are advertising each other. I was just wondering why block fan sites? As I see it, im not doing anything wrong, im just wondering....

Man we have to rise up, let's stick it to the man by not doing anything at all, sorta like the 60s hippies have been doing since '69.

Um... there will be no rising up, or there shalt be a great smacking down. lol, jk, but I can understand Thunder's confusion. I posted a link to my site and it has not been blocked, yet. I knew Charas had a rule against posting certain links, like links to rm2k/3/XP, but to personal game sites? weird.

Did the site have downloads for RPG Maker? Because you aren't allowed to link to sites where you can download it.

So you mean you click the link and it blocks out the site? That's just a forum glitch that happens if you somehow screw up the URL tag, or sometimes randomly. Happens a lot. If you hover your mouse above the link and read where it leads to at the bottom of your browser window, you will see that it's screwed up.
To fix it, try putting a space before and after the URL, because sometimes the forum thinks that the Enter key is part of the URL, and that screws it up.

Lol, huh what do ya know. lol wow do I feel stupid. The man is not holding me down! Wow! Thanks dude, for a minute there I thought charas didnt like me lol. I thought that mods and admins go through threads and look at the links to see if there websites to certain things. I didnt know it was a glitch, mabye it was posted and I didnt read it lol ohhh well. Problem solved.
