Game ideas...

I've been brainstorming new game ideas for ages.

-The Bombites; one of my classic comedic stories put into a game, with cartoony appeal. (Opening of the Lumbhouse...)
This considers a weird family existing out of bombs (.?) and their adventures.

-Winged Knight; a remake of a mecha story I was working on, to put into a game..? Can't give alot of explanation there.

-Final Fantasy: Birth of Chaos; a story I had in my head for quite a while, to serve as a prologue to the original Final Fantasy, and which I WOULD count as a fan game. It would certainly feature Garland.

-Final Fantasy: Unlimited fangame; a concept I had in my head for quite a while also, seeing that Final Fantasy Unlimited never had a game of its own. Anybody who ever saw FFU must be familiar with this.

Can anybody tell me which idea seems best? To me it is the first.

No, it's unlimited, it's an anime series... not the best, but still kinda good.

Anyways, I would go with either the FF Proluge to 1, or the Bombs. Because you know ALOT about FF, I'm sure your fan game won't totally blow (as I am very anti-fangame based)

Well, I'll wait till next tuesday to judge which project I should try to take on. Waiting to receive the Eternal Struggle's battle and menu system is getting boring, so I really need something to do.

I'm saying the Mecha one because it isn't a fan game.  

i don't object to Fan games as a last resort though. or if you fail at the other ideas

FFU was pretty good, not many people I know liked it, which made me pretty sad. Plus the Cid in that was cool.

Heh, I agree with that. Even though I've only seen a few episodes, I could still try to download some. In any case, whatever game I will agree to work on, I will have to gather and make some of the needed resources for it, bear that in mind.

I don't know.

FFU kinda never had a real ending, or at least it had a bunch of things hanging, so if the game went further in the story and tied some of those things up, it would be cool.

The FF1 prolouge.. It's been a while since I played that game. But I wouldn't go with this one, not only would it be a fan game, it would probably deal with crystals and such :(. And if I'm not mistaken, in the game you already kill garland in the past (and present)?

The mecha game sounds cool. Though the mecha theme is pretty popular, you never see any rm2k3 games dealing with it. So I'd probably go with this idea.

The bomb idea, if you want to make a comidy game, go with this one. It reminds me of bomberman for some reason :p

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

I voted for FF: BoC for pretty much the same reason Meiscool gave.
I dont like fangames alot but FF ones arent THAT bad if the maker knows anything about FF and you know ALOT.

About the mecha theme: amen to that, brother. About the bomb family: they've once been my flagship story, although it was never finished. Now that you say it, I might give Bomberman a cameo.

YES! And Cid Time travels too, because it's impossible to have a name reuse in a series and not have it be the same guy!
