what on Tidus? Not really, i jsut got a picture of him from somwhere and did a whole like outline and went from there. I don;t start off like many people do. But when i started his head i didn't focus on the rest of the boday and made it alittle smaller then it should be. I have to learn how to keep a focus on the whole pictures instead of what i am drawing at the moment

Alright, I have definatley got better since you guys last saw my pictures.

To start off
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d170/coreystranick/scan0001.jpg

That would be a portrait of myself a month or two ago. I did it by looking in a mirror jsut incase you couldn't figure it out.

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d170/coreystranick/scan0002.jpg

That would be my eye. Done by looking VERY close at the mirror

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d170/coreystranick/scan0003.jpg

And that is me jsut trying to posistion everything correctly. Jsut to make sure arms are not too short nor long. This would be a reference but for my class I had to put clothes on him.

Tell me what you think!

EDIT: And for you guys who can't figure it out, remove the

Yep, you have, sort of.  Good job.  These are still on about the same level as the KH picture from a while ago.

I say study study study anatomy. That third guy looks really uncomfortable.  Work on symetry of the human body, and also clothing folds. You can just look at your own in certain circumstances.

I did this for a contest on another forum, I think it is good for my first pixel art, I tried to do some n00b AAing on the clothes. And some nifty dithereing to make a midtone.

This is supposed to either be an outlaw of some type or maybe a Theif type hero who knows.

I am thinking about doing some more. And maybe making his body and adding a background but that would be a huge picture if I added the whole body, maybe just a background.

Looks good, but I'd use brighter colors.

I couldn't the contest gave you a specific pallette to use, I like it though.I just wish i knew how to AA because it would have been cool, I don't think I did a good job of it. But dithering is kinda my strong point in this picture. I jsut wish I knew some cooler whays to shade besides pillow shading and dithering and such.

Maybe a drawing book. I had one with that picture in it, when I was like 14 I drew it. The pixel art was for a contest a pallette was selected that  was all we could use.

O I can also say I did the sprite in my sig too
