Brief Story Intro:   A politically ambitious young man makes the decision to run for a seat on the governing commission of his home region, also pursuading some friends to make the run as well.  Victorious in their election pursuit, they also sweep their political party into power.  This young man's friends banded together and elected him the Chairman of the Commission, the most powerful office of the region, passing over the senior member of his party who was expected to become chairman in the event her party took power.  This event proved, for some strange reason, to be unacceptable to a powerful member of another region's government.  This individual began plotting immediately to have the new Chairman thrown out of office.

Some time later, the Chairman got intelligence information suggesting that a powerful member of another government was entering his region's territory unannounced and was paying no official visit to the capital.  Sensing a threat to security, the Chairman secretly appoints 4 special investigators to look into what this person is up to.  As they will learn, it is far more than just unannounced visits...tracking her to a small town in the region, they find the mayor being threatened by this foreign official.  After the mayor refuses to given in to the official's demands, fiends appear and attack the town.  The investigators save the mayor and the town from certain doom (they just happened to be there at precisely the right time...imagine that) and then rush back to the region's capital to report this incident to the Chairman, only to find more problems on their way back...(and the story's complexity climbs from there as more of this plot is uncovered).

If you are looking for a completed game with good grammar, dialog, and a decent story, you will probably like this.  If you are looking for a game with award-winning mapping...I'll be honest, that's not what this game has...but download it and give it a chance, play it awhile and let yourself get into the story and I think you'll have fun.  If you don't like it you can always delete it later.

Yeah, some of your maps are a bit too empty. Basically, they're too empty, you have one solid tile as the gound. You want to vary it up a bit, for example, in the town, you have the whole ground the same type of grass, try adding some longer grass or vegitation somewhere, if the chipset has some dirt, ligher or darker grass, or some other type of ground tile, try to build that into the map.

This game sounds pretty interesting though, but I can't download it for a little while cuz I don't have enough time on my dial up right now

Gah, that pink border to the text box is killer! I refuse to download it because I can do without the headache it's sure to cause. I mean, I'm irritated just by looking at it for a few seconds, and reading everything that runs past will kill me! Or make me go blind... I'll consider a download if you are willing to change the pink pain.

You get used to the textbox after a while.

But it annoyed me in the beginning. But then I got to captivated in the story.

That and trying to fiqure out the time period this is in canceld out that pink tilebox headache.
