I didn't forget you >_>.

No major updates, still trying to get my farming system to work right... The timer system is pretty much done, I have it so it tracks times for years, and years. And the screen tints! Ooo!

Ima pretty decent coder but this is just plain sad...When you use a tool I have it so the main character dissapears and a battle animation of him doing whatever happens. HERES THE PROBLEM. When you try to move...the animation hes doing goes in the direction you push (not all the time, but enough to be annoying).
Also he 'blinks' when he reappears as a charset...which doesn't look very nice. Not eyes open, eyes close, but he dissapears for a split second and comes back. Teleportation?

Once I get the basics worked out of the farming system I have to do the crop stuff, which is about a million events.

Then I can start the real game and from there it'll be smoooth sailing...

Yeah that was alot, so Ima shut up now.

I suggest using pictures. I do it all the time. I'd make 2 Variables on the Charaset (1 for X Screen Relative Position and 1 for Y Screen Reletive Position) and set them to the guy.

Variable Operation: [0001:HMoonGuyX] Set, Hero Screen X
Variable Operation: [0002:HMoonGuyY] Set, Hero Screen Y

Then when I pick Show Picture, I check the box with the 2 Variable Slots in it. I set the X one to HMoonGuyX and the Y one to HMoonGuy Y. Then test play. If your pictures go by 16*16 pixel slots, like your battle animation slides, you might have to add or subtract 8 to one of those variables.

Hope this helps. It should get rid of the flashing effect.

I assume it takes place in Mineral Town. Put in a black chick you can marry, so when you have a kid it will be like half black. I mean I personally find black chicks unattractive
But like no Harvest Moon games have that much diversity

As for black chicks...uhm, I highly doubt it. I might make a ghetto gangsta girl who uses slang or something...

Ah...hmm...no comment. _sweat_

The boring coding stuff before the real game, I know how it feels. Keep it up.

Lol, no offence meant by that comment.

Anyway, I think that picture thing is probally a good idea...Ima try it and see what happens.

Yes coding is very boring at times but the end result is worth it...unless it just sucks.  :eyes:

Thanks for the coments and suggestions.  ;)
