This is a tirade against the sub-anti-human dreck, those 100 or so mediocrities devoid of original thought or of moral, ethical values... cretins with hopeless fatalism, nihilism, anarchy, pointy-headed anti-everything gibberish.

There is a real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment. But I don't criticize; some men are born mediocre men, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them. Only mediocrity can be trusted to be always at its best.

There is nothing so agonizing to the fine skin of vanity as the application of a rough truth.
