If I downloaded my game onto a disc and inserted into a playstation 2?
Would it work? If yes, how?

You'd need a modchip - Playstations have checks against burning games and playing them.

A modchip basically alters the hardware and software so that you can put your own software on the PS2 and run it, which could allow you to disable the check against a valid PS2 game.

Nope. Besides, why would you wanna play your RM game on PS2? I'm sure most people have a computer.

EDIT: Moved to AoA.

I have the chip in my old ps1. It didn't work for every game tho, and now it doesn't work for any of them. *shrugs* It was fun while it lasted.

There IS another way besides a mod chip (but it costs money as well). Its called a Boot Disk. Basically, you insert tbe boot disk into your ps2, then you would switch it with the burned disk, and it'll run. Its cheaper and safer for your ps2.

If you're just trying to play a regular playstation game, you can just play those on your computer with a playstation emulator.

Or you can wait a while until a good ps2 emulator comes out.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
