What Time is It?

I noticed that when I make a post, it shows up as half an hour early on this forum, and sometimes even wierder on other forums. It's a bit past 4:30 here. 4:40 Now. I live in Illinois so I have that hour early timezone thing. Is your clock different from the clock on charas and if so, by how much? Am I the only having this problem?

As I recall, Alex said that the forum time is set to a unique timezone so that people would have a standard. For example, if you're getting a bunch of people to play an online game, and you say "We start at 6", it might confuse some people because of all the timezones around here. So you could use the forum clock, and say "We start at 6 forum time", which is the same regardless.

That makes sense. At least I know it's not a problem. So if anyone's still intrested, what time is it where you live (How far away from the Charas Clock)?
