Don't try to pull the whole "I'm using paint" gig. Try using AppleWorks on a mac. Its like paint, but worse. I used that for years.

He's suggesting that Paint isn't as bad as you think it is.  And there are plenty of other freeware programs out there, like idraw.

I couldn't find any pictures of the FFT menu in PNG so I went with the next thing.

I've used Appleworks. It's pretty bad. If you'd like to see what it's like, go to Start--_>Programs--_>Word Processing(or something)--_>Microsoft EXCEL. If you're using an XP or higher, it's most likely pre-installed.

Yeah, I dont quite get that comparison. But in AP, if an image has a purple color, and you use syringe, instead of giving you that color exactly, it gives you the closest on the palette.
