Fable: The lost chapters + Fable
« on: August 22, 2006, 03:50:33 PM »
I have found the game very fun and very worthwhile, although it was a bit too easy. I definitely would've Jack of Blades tougher in both battles.

I'd also:
-Add a catapult somewhere.
-Get rid of the girl that pesters you until you help her. She follows you, bugging you in her annoying little voice saying "Hero, hero!"
-Add more spells.

If you could change the game, what would you change?

I'd make it playable on the Xbox.

If I could change something on it, I'd change the price to $0. Then I could play it and figure out more things I'd like to change.

Thats what I love about TES games, you can change stuff you don't like  in them rather easily.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

It already is on the Xbox. That's what I'm playing.

Nope, it is on the Xbox now too.

I would definately agree with you Ed on the points you made.

Also, make some of the voices less annoying, alot of the characters just irritated me by how they talked.

Also Ed, how old were you able to be? The highest I got was around 65-70 or something, Idk haven't played in some time.

*Looks at oldest profile.*

Name: Chicken man
Legendary warrior called Paladin.
Age: 95

Your age depends on one thing: how often you use the experience portal.

Chicken man is 95 because he is perfect. He has mastered every spell, has perfect strength, health, physique, guile, speed, and range. (I did this by keeping all of my "ages of..." potions, then when I had the bereaver, I pummeled the two zombies that never stop spawning on cliffside path, while using physical shield, so my combat multiplier never lowers. I got about *looks at profile* 1679860 green exp. each time I go there.)

Wow, cool. I have never found the answer to this, but do you think that you will eventually die from old age or jsut keep getting older?

No. I don't think you can die from old age. Otherwise, chicken man would be long overdue.

Is Lost Chapters worth the money? I'm thinking about buying it now.

Um, I got like... age 75. I've had sex 24 times. I also bought almost all the houses in the game, except for Bowerstone. I didn't get max in everything, as I don't have enough good points to buy the last level of bezserk. I did however get the best summon (if you don't know, summons increase in power as they kill enemies), which is the magic version of those things with the spiny sticks that you fight on the last mission of Fable.

I was mostly pure summoning and melee. I used ghost sword, summon, and I think one more thing. Then I used Beserk and Multi sword for huge damage on bosses. For distance, I had the best bow and used Multi Arrow. I beat Jack in three hits.

I think its because it has 4 agumentations on it or something. Still worse then all the other weapons though.

It's not really legendary, but it is worth it. If you get it with only 1 treasure clue, it has a damage of 0. So you can hit people with it, and they won't run to the guards. It's fun.  :D
