Forcing? No we're not, and to say we're forcing (democracy I assumr you're speaking of) on them is rediculous. The people of Iraq have wanted to have a true democratic system for years. In fact, in order to simply appease them, Hussein set up elections akin to a democratic system. Of course if you ran against him, he'd kill you, but the people wanted a true democracy.

Yes, they are STILL killing each other, but when they have to fight against a common enemy, they join. I remember the first days of the war at Iraq, when the allied forces had to fight resistance everywhere. They still have to. I never said that they didn't fight each other before the US arrived, of course that they used to fight before (Saddam pursued kourds and shiites, for example), but you have to admit that the US hasn't helped to stop the conflict.

Fact is. Humans may or may not conciously realise it, but they love war. And any thing... I mean anything they'll use as an excuse to start one. History proves it.

Example: They used Helen as an excuse for the Trojan War. But come on, these guys LOVED war. They were just waiting for a reason to engage in one.

Trying to put the blame on one thing is rather stupid. Heck, those Catholics who killed people were actually using the Catholic religions as a weapon to control, not it's original intentions. It's the humans that decide to use what what, not it itself.

Edit: It's obvious that the Muslim religion was actually being used as propaganda to start some "holy war," feh. "Protect your religion!" Yeah yeah, sure your not just wanting to start a war. Suuure. Similar stuff was pulled in the past.

Let's just hope that we get lucky enough to avoid a world war.

I'm doubtful that there'll ever be another world war. Large wars can now be solved at long distance, with terrible effects. If the situation ever got as dire as in the previous world wars, nukes would be used before it turned into one properly. And honestly I think everyone's too scared of nukes to start that sort of thing.


..Except suicide bombers I guess but they can't start a full scale world war on their own.

A world war involves the entire world and I don't see any signs a of an argument big enough to cover the whole world.
This planet will get invaded by Aliens before we see another world war, that's what I think.
