Bomb Threat
« on: September 19, 2006, 05:33:49 PM »
So yeah, for lunch today I went to a near-by subway, when I come back and go to psycology, my princapal gets on the intercom and says something like "Attention students, I need you to listen very carefully because this is really important, all students and staff must leave the building imediatly, all juniors and seniors are to report to the middle school, and all freshmen and sophmores are to report to the elemetry school..."

So not knowing what was going on, we left and went to the middle school. After sitting in the gym for a half an hour, the super intendent told us that we had a bomb threat, and that we would be able to go home at 1, and some other stuff, but thats not important.

This is the third time since I've been in high school that we've had a bomb threat, last year when we had one, they didn't even let the students know about it, two years earlier, the call came before school started so we never had to go to school.

Three bomb threats in a town with about 2000 people seems a lot...

So do any other people get bomb threats at their schools, or is it just that my small little town is full of idiots?

Sigh, in a little bit I have to go back to school for football practice, fun...

Yeah, that happened to my school once. But the teachers didn't even mention it until like the next week (they obviously weren't taking it seriously).

Yeah, last year. They put all of us, every last student and faculty member, on the bleachers of the football field. It was an ok plan I guess, but now the next time someone really bombs the school, they know to plant the bomb under the bleachers, call it in the school, and boom. Everyone's dead.

A couple of years ago there was a report of a bomb in a backpack that was lying around in the gym. I didn't hear about it until a couple days after, but there were cops there.
Turns out the bomb threat was a lie.

Jr high we had a couple... they had us standing in "front" of the building, idiots...   The only thing we got in high school was fights, shoot outs, and a stabbing here and there. *shrugs* But then again there were no emo's in my school. Emo's were in the high school next door to mines. <.<

Sometimes we have practise evactuations (for fire) and invacuations (for say people with guns).

Everytime we have one or the other, I mention that all a terrorist would have to do is light a fire. Then when the whole school is evacuated, he can start shooting everyone.

XD That just sounds SO wrong in portuguese.
In portuguese, to evacuate = to defecate.

Alright, I went back to school for football practice. According to the cops, all after school activities had to be canceled, an away soccer game was canceled... BUT, we still had football practice. Anyway, I found my couch at the middle school because he works there, and we still had it. We had to wait until 3:30 for the cops to let us in the parking lot.

According to the news, there was no bomb. However, I heard that there was one in the bathroom. They locked the bathroom in the middle of the day, cops were sent in, and we saw cops walk in with a suit case, and then walk out, which I'm guessing they used to carry the bomb out. I'm thinking that there was actually a bomb, but the cops or bomb squad or faciltiy or whoever didn't inform the media of such otherwise it would have caused a panic and some people would skip school the next week or so.

At my old school. It had a bunch of white hicks. I actually knew the girl who gave it. She was "mentally challenged."

Are emos supposed to be scary or something? There are a lot of them at my new school. Usually the ones with the guns are nerdy...nerd, NERD, nerds.

Old school had a lot of fights. This one has a few.
