EDIT: Oh, you mean getting it illegally? Believe me, I didn't knew it wasn't released yet, secondly, it was either this or nothing, there's not a legalized video game store in miles, and finnally, a bootlegged game costs R$15-18, a original one, R$100-150. See where I'm going?

Grandy, you're so cool. And smart. Smart and cool. Can I have some free stuff plz?

On Kotor imo is like this. You've got slots in a corner of the screen. Each of these slots can be filled with some kind of action.

Whatever is in the first slot, your guy will do. After it disappears, the second slot will move forward and he'll do that. This kind of keeps the game fast paced.

You can stop battle too to select who to attack and stuff. I like it. I don't play it that much though. If it's not Like FF12, judging from the screens I'd say FF13 will be just like it.

 It's.. not really that way.

It's kinda, you choose that action "Attack" now you character punch/slash/wathever the enemie, and then you have to wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... until finnaly the gauge fills and you attack again. now wait... wait... wait... wait... and you attack again.

I gues the point is that you should dodge attacks while the gauge fills, but you really can't, 'cause, as far as I've played, all the enemies are faster than you are, so all this do is to buy you 1/2 seconds before you get hit, and still only if you run somewhere where there isn't a wall.

Haven't played the game yet.

You using the Lisence Grid yet? How does that work? Shouldn't attacking be automatic until you tell it to stop?

If I had to pick a character to be, I'd be a Chocobo as well as Pikachu. I can fly, shoot meteors, and walk on water.

'kay, the learning system, is like...

You have this chess-like board, and your initial skilz are there, each square is another skill, that skill can be either magic, techniques or abilities like the ability to use a sword or a spear.
Once you have learned a skill, you may choose to learn another that is square either above, below, or in each side of the squares you have already unlocked. Basically is that, but it has somethings with levels and such that I can't quite figure out how it works either.
You can also learn Limit-Break-ish attaks in the grid, but anyone can learn any of those attacks, but only one time and only to one person.
It's like, imagine FF7, but you can teach Cloud's attack to Barret, and once you do Cloud can't use it.

And yes, in battles, the character keeps attacking endless (only attack, if you want magic, you'll have to chose it, wait until the gauge fills and he/she autmatically shoots, then you'll have to choose it again), unless your press triangle, but he only attacks once the gauge is full, and you must get near the enemy in order to attack.
You must choose your actions before the gauge fills, and once it fills, that action is automatically used, pressing a button opens the menu, and it freezes the game while you choose your action (or you can choose it so it doesn't freezes time.) if no action is chosen, the gauge will keep full until you chose one.

The only good thing in this system is the NPCs helpers that you may find. As an example, you are in low health, and a monster is attackking you, in the far distance, you see someone, who you know is not a monster, if you run near him, he can help you by either attacking the monster or healing you. I've found only a white mage up until now, but he casted protect on me and that helped a little.

Plus there is no way Galactus could take Pheonix, he was just an eternal, Pheonix is an Omega Mutant. He gets beat by the freaking fantastic four for crying out loud.

PUTTING THE TWO TOGHETER DOES NOT WORK!
You have to attack like it's a action RPG, like Zelda series, but everytime you attack, you have to wait untill your "wait" gauge fill up for you to attack again!
It may look good at the beggining, maybe you can dodge some attacks by running from the monsters? What's this? The monsters run after you, faster than you, AND they never miss, unless by a small chance you get the "miss", just like a turn-based?
Now think about it, that DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!
I could very well don't move my character the whole battle and act as it's turn-based, but there's still the matter that party memebers, other than you, can't be controlled.

Besides that, the game is actually good, but when a game with that many fights has a battle system I dislike it really throwns off everything else.

That AND most likelly George Lucas could sue Square for a BLATANT rip off of Star Wars.

That's one of the things I'm looking forward too. :p I love different battle systems, and this one has my attention. How knows, maybe one day they'll take a chance at the baiten kratos system. Which I think is awsome. <.<
