Download and install WinRAR (I'll post a link later) and then right click -> extract here.

I would use something like 7zip which is totally free, and doesn't bother you to register like SOME products. That, and it also supports 7zip files, which Winrar cannot. (As far as I know.)

Exactly.

.7z files aren't that common.

FYI, the best place to find winrar (as it is against the rules for us to give you a direct link) is to search the words "Download Winrar" at www.google.com.

Actually, the best place to find WinRAR is to  just download it from RARLabs, the creators of it. I don't know why people always complain about, "You have to register to continue using it!" YOU DON'T. All that happens is that every time the program opens it says, "You really should register." You click "No thanks." and WAHBAM. WinRAR registration is not required at all.

Is direct linking now allowed?

EDIT: Nevermind. It's a legal download. I forgot.

WinRar is fully and completely able to unzip .7z files.

I thought WinRar was free, its never gave me any problems since I first downloaded it. It's never even asked me to register.

I don't think anyone is angry..

Anyway, winrar is free to download. It says you're supposed to register, but you don't have to. I think my version said it was a 30 day evaluation version, but it never expired after the 30 days.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
