Class: Knight of the Mystic Order

Personality: Ayoshi for the most part is simply a quiet girl.  she loves to make friends, but is smart enough to realize if someone is suspicious of something.  Ayoshi is a kind girl, but knows that there is a fine line between kind and overly kind.  she seems quite different, especially after she joined the mystic order and left her home town.

Leonel:

Personality:  Leonel likes to keep things at a business level with anyone he does a job with.  he Knows that lives are easilly extinguished so always makes the most of his and urges other to do the same.  he changed after he joined the myrmadon, but not much.  he simply realized that he is perfect to protect people, and that became a major duty to him.  he is ayoshi's life long best friend.

Class: Cleric

Personality: Leshia lived a happy life, or she did, until her brother took the throne.  his image became the most important thing, and the cardinals all hated her regardless of being a cardinal herself.  he mistreated her just after he became the figurehead of the country.  she has an angry streak, but it rarely appears.

Name: Saske
appearance:
Age: 26
Title: 53rd Mayor of kensin
Personality: Saske is very polite and yet makes sure his messages get through.  he seems to be very close with lenia.  he may be a young mayor, however, he leads kensin with a just hand.  he plays a major role throughout the game.

Name: Lenia
appearance:
Age: 29
Title: resource manager of kensin
Personality:  An agent of Saske.  among two others, she manages resources and other needs.  she is very subtle, yet kind, but knows how to tell people what she feels.


That's all that I have currently, but a new character will be added soon.

Faeries:

Blitz:
Element: Thunder
Personality: blitz is a very spunky faerie, found in the forest of milkinlia with her sisters.  she loves thunder magic, and would rather die than give it up.

Ember:
Element: Fire
Personality: being that she is the second oldest, Ember is very protective of the other eight.  she can wield fire magic, aswell as very powerful fist attacks

Sleet:
Element: Ice
Personality: contrary to her element, Sleet is probably the sweetest of the eight.  she uses her ice magic mainly to heal the trees Ember will accidentally burn or to cool a burn wound of travellers.

Silver:
Element: Light
Personality:  Silver is the oldest of the eight, and takes her position very seriously.  she acts as a guide for her sisters, and is very protective of them, especially Onyx.

Rose:
Element: Earth
Personality: Rose is a very shy girl, and tends to stay away from travellers.  easilly embarassed, clumsy, and easilly makes mistakes.  she however, is a very loving faerie deep down.

Onyx:
Element: Dark
Personality: Onyx is not very dark, contrary to what people think.  Onyx is the youngest of the eight, and is very ashamed of the fact.  she is a very complex spirit, but still can make friends easilly if she really tries.

Typhoon:
Element: Air
Personality: Typhoon is a very quick witted faerie.  she tends to stay near the others, but if she must she will go out in the area without them.

Gale:
Element: Water
Personality: Gale is quiet.  she rarely speaks, and sees everything in a very different perspective.  things may seem like one thing, but to her, they may seem like the opposite.



High Cardinal of Sky Castle:

Silveria:

Class: Blade Knight
Title: Prince and heir to the throne of Sky Castle
Personality: Silveria is a man of his people.  if it pleases his people he will speak something, even if he doesn't believe such.  he is very evil at heart however.  he is very abusive of his sister Leshia, even though he doesn't feel that way about her.  he does such to her to please his cardinals, but he still cares deeply for her, regardless of his affinity.

Enigma:

Ages: 29
Class: Thaumatorgica
Title: advisor of the prince, puppeteer of the council.
Personality:  Enigma has a warped mind.  he is the result of one of the first experiments of Thaumatorgica.  however, he didn't go as well as crafting creatures out of clay.  he is a mad man, and loves to torment people.  he hates the idea that he is not a human person, and instead is a golem.  he uses deranged puppets to do his work, and hides behind a mask in the shape of a skull.  Enigma is perhaps the most insane person in the kingdom of sky castle, or the empire of sacres.  but with slight good reason, he had a tormented 'childhood.' (period that he first began to form his adult shape.)

Gallia:

Age: 35
Class: Ex-Myrmadon
Title: High swordsman of the council.
Personality: Gallia is partway serpent.  its a lesser known fact, but its very believed that his grandfather was a serpent.  he is often called the angelic fate.  he has a bad temper, and if something angers him, he sees it as his right to destroy it.  regardless of his personality, he is a very wise swordsman, in battle anyway.  he knows all the best tricks of fighting, and will wait for you to slip up before he goes in for the kill.

Title: Arch magess of Sky Castle.
Personality: Ichugo is a good person at heart, this shown most by her favor of Leshia.  she very much cares for leshia, and cannot bear to see her mistreated.  she is the navigator of sky castle, and the overseer of the status of everything of sky castle.

Faerie-Tale:
Appearance: ???
Home Town: Sky Castle (?)
Age: 17
Class: Grand Master Mystic Knight
Title: Overlord of the council of sky castle.
Personality:  Faerie tale is a being shrouded in mystery.  his race is presumed to be human, even with his inhuman ability.  he may only be 17, but he is by far, atleast double the power of all the other cardinal.  it is unknown for sure where he came from, so most just figure he was born in sky castle.  he travelled to sacres at the age of 13 and rose to the top of the ranks in the mystic order due to his amazing natural skill and knowledge.  the only person who comes close to his swordsmanship is gillia, and magic is only opposed by enigma.  it is a widely known fact that he left sacres, taking with the 4 years of training as a mystic knight, and returned home to Sky Castle with they're most valuable weapon, their sacred art...

=======Story=======

     In your world, my world is a simple story, so...what does that make your world in mine?

     Welcome to Atreccia, a mythic land of great happiness, sadness, destruction, creation, peace, and war.  Atreccia is a world run completely by one omnipotent force, Destiny.  the world is very different from any ever heard of.  conflicts erupt constantly in this vast land, and peace is brought between conflict more often than not.  however, it is time, to reveal the greatest conflict the planet will ever see for millenia.  one of the most terrifying battles between good and evil.  the tale of, Ayoshi, the mystic knight.

     allow me to show you the beginning, the start, the cause for her journey.  who am I you ask?  I am wisp, your guide, your held out hand, your protector, in the mythic world of Atreccia....



     "So, how is it?" He asked, a smile creaking over his face, hoping she would be proud.  Instead, tears welled in her eyes as she saw herself in his steel breastplate.

     "Ayoshi..." He said, choking back tears as he looked into her eyes."I'm doing this for you, I want to protect you."

     "Leonel...Please, don't stay..." She muttered.

     His eyes widened as she said such."Yo- you don't want me to stay?"

     "ofcourse I want you to stay, but you don't want to stay, and I don't wanna be the reason you stay..." She said quietly, forcing a smile."Now go and make me proud!" she burst out into tears and hugged him tightly.

      "I'll miss you Ayoshi...but we'll meet again, I promise..." he said, stepping back."I have to go now.  the caravan will be coming soon."

      "Maybe we'll meet sooner than you think Leonel!  Don't you ever forget me though!" She called after him, sitting down with a lonely expression.  she needed to see him again, no matter what....

       and so you see the journey's beginning.  perhaps soon, we will meet again, and by then I will have more stories of the girl Ayoshi and the boy Leonel.







=====Systems=====

Money System:  this game is planned to be more realistic then most.  Elka is planned to be the major currency, however there will be three different currencies, Beila, Zerva, and Exira.  Elka is the most common, Beila is the least, Zerva is the secound least common, and Exira is the other major currency.

Battle System: The battle system will be using the 2k battle system, but there will be a one (maybe two) different fighting sequences, both being card game style things, plus there will be ABS sequences between important enemies and specific characters.

Health System:  with major enemies, I have devised a way to translate they're current health into 5% intervals.  example, a boss with 1000 HP is hit for 54 then it will show that he has 95% left.  if you want me to explain the system then I will design a tutorial on it.

Mining System:  Some shops will expect you to bring the materials they need for you to forge powerful weapons.  only when you give the material to them, will they mine for 5 or so minutes and you will be able to buy the weapon off of them.

Coin System: once you become truly acquanted with the eight faeries (plus wisp) there will be certain secret areas where you can battle the faerie and obtain them as a summon.  this system will use Coins which you can buy or find out in the field.  this system is also used in Midnight rain: Black Legend. (a different game of mine)

Job System:  there will be a job system, but for the first chapter (part, game, thing) of the game, these titles will only change the character's status and allow them to do certain subquests and get certain weapons.

Chapter System: there will be as many as 5 different games, all consisting of 20-25 hour long games, then will leave off with a cliff hanger most likely and swap to the next.

There may be a run system, but that is unsure as of yet.

Trap system: there will be traps in dungeons, as well as creepy features just to brighten up the interactivity (aswell as the occasional intro song from ghosts and goblins for slight comedie's sake at those meant to be creepy times.)

there are a few more custom systems, but that's all I can think of for now.

Q&A:

Q:  why don't they look any more more like sprites instead of hand drawn pictures.

A:  I wanna give the players a feel that these aren't little pixelated zombies.  in my opinion, things are much easier to take seriously when they look more like they're there, not like they were pixelated.

Q:   I see, well, why isn't your work any better?

A:   I'm a good artist, IRL only though.  I cannot draw legs very well, especially on female characters because of the fact that I don't have a scanner and I'm not very good at drawing digitally, plus I have I wheeled mouse instead of a mouse with a light scanner thing, so its way harder for me than for most.

Q:   Why not invest in a scanner?

A:   I don't have connections, and why would I wanna spend that much money so I can sit in my room countless hours drawing game art, then color and shade it digitally (or even with pencils) then go through resizing it to fit as a monster.


Q:    This game is wierd and cutesy, I don't like it.

A:    Please don't judge the game off the cutesy looks, its actually pretty hard core.  and also, if you have a problem with these graphics, your eyeballs must've popped when you first layed eyes on anything in dragon quest....

Q:    You promised SPS (still picture scenes)

A:    Ask a question dude, and, I'm bad at drawing backgrounds on the computer too, so I'll just stick to official art/pictures of the person just to introduce them.

Q:    Your pictures suck.

A:     Oh sure, compare me to roko will you! xD

Ok everyone, sorry, but the project has been at a small standstill.

ok, an estimation is that the game is about 7-9% done.  the game will be released at the 25% mark, and then again at 50%, and your just outta luck until  its finished.

that made you look conceited posting to your own resources lol, but anyway, the maps are a work in progress, I plan to improve them a bit before publishing them, and the world map I plan to keep, since, look at ahriman's prophecy.  has the same world map and it was amazingly popular.  besides, in real games are you going to say. 'aw these maps are just so ugly.' while playing in a room that looks like that?  I think not.  if you don't like the screen shots, ok, but whatever.

the game's demo will be released hopefully by next month.

I read Job system in here, and I'm wondering if it's going to be like Final Fantasy V's job system or not. Because if it is, that would be awesome, I've always liked having someone like a Dragoon using White magic and so on. Can you explain your job system a little more?

sure, its very simple at first, but yes, in the sequel a more advanced version will be put together, and it will be something like that.  at first, the job system will be just changing title's as you level up.  well, there will be specific times where you can only go through certain doors in towns and such if you have a high enough rank. ;)

alright, big bump.  progress is slow yet sweet.  the game's going well, but the length was diced into seriously smaller bits.  the first chapter is about three hours (estimate) but its not quite done.  just needs some finishing touches, a bit touches up on the maps, finishing of the items, and the last dungeon.

ummm, thanks?  well, I have three main projects I work on whenever I feel like it, and I'd really like to finish Ayoshi to get it out the way, so, expect it hopefully within the month or next month.

yeah, this project started a year or so ago and it just got off the ground recently, so the maps are very bad quality.  just survive the maps until the end where they get alot better, and then you'll get some mid-quality 3D graphics as maps instead.   ::)
