Alright so I finally got a chance to play it... I'll start with the good.

Your programming on the random battles is sweet. I liked the enemies appearing on the map and the fact that they actually go away when you kill them... (yes I played a game where they just reset the position...) Also I think the music was well chosen for the parts of the game... except one... but that would be a bad... This however is (imo) where the good stops...

In the intro I saw Cloud, Sephiroth, and I swear Illyana (sp?) Is just a grown up Mint sprite or a character from Secrets of Mana 3... I hope they were just place holders cause if not that is really sad... Also in the forest with all the monsters there is this sad music that really put me out of the danger mood of being chased by those ninjas stolen from FF6 through a monster infested forest... Also is English your first language? You really might want to get a beta tester to fix your spelling errors because at the current state it is barely playable at best. But as I said before keep the Cristal misspelling as it adds something at least somewhat different from FF. Now I am going to admit that I hate Square so what I say about this may be a little biased and someone else might like that sort of cameo thing. But seeing Sephiroth AGAIN almost made me turn it off before the intro was even done. I am glad I didn't it is a good game... Just feels like playing a FF compilation...

Edit: AGH Sorry about the double post I didn't really notice... And rereading this it sounds like I hated the game... I didn't mean that. I found it enjoyable. I just didn't like the overabundant Square references... I mean... Rirue LAGUNA! They are everywhere!
