GoHL Demo
« on: March 20, 2007, 10:10:56 PM »
Yeah, a week or so ago I had a small urge to do some rpgmaker, so I did. Got quite a bit done then figured I'd come and give you guys the demo I never delivered. The ffirst half and then some is pretty much bug free, after that is uncertain, but I am pretty confident you won't be able to find many if any game crippling glitches.

So anyway, here ya go, you guys know where the screens are if you want to look.

The Ghosts of Heart Lake Beta Demo 2

EDIT: The only thing to say really is that there's only two unoriginal MIDIs on there. Track 37 and 38.

Oh yeah, that's right, you got broadband or something now. So much better than dial up.

Thanks LF. I'm actually playing your demo right now, I like it, but I've found a glitch and had to start over. I'll tell you bout it in your thread.

Walk around a bit, you'll find out eventually.

To Reldros: thanks

EDIT: I think the beginning of my game can get a little dull, so I don't blame you if you get bored with it. It's a lot of talking and doing seemingly pointless things before the ball gets rollin'.

Lol, don't worry.  My game has its share of cutscenes.  I should mention though, that if you go back to the church, the funeral scene start over again.  but without lots of people and....dun dun dun....no body!  :O

I just gave up.  I went all over and there was nothing to do.  The enemies were impossible to beat and I had absolutely no direction.  C'mon man, you're better then this.

I don't get it, there shouldn't have been a problem. Every fuckin' time I release a demo something goes, no matter how many times I review it. The monster you're talking about were in a cave, right? Well, I put that there for the hell of it, it has nothing to do with the story. Kinda like a sidequest. What should've happened is that you tried to leave town and this guy stops you and it's an old friend and so on from there.
