I did not see Disgaea, I must have missed it, because no one would have a PS2 without Disgaea on it. That'd be just silly.

*looks in game bin*

Star Ocean Till the End of Time, that was an awesome game, until the crappy plot twist, but even then, it was enjoyable.

Dot hack games are fun, though the gameplay is kinda repedetive, but I find them fun.

Metal Gear Solid games are good, though I only have sons of liberty

And of course, I love my dragon games
- Dragon Rage
- Drakan the ancient gates
- Drakengard
- Drakengard 2

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

You seem to like RPGs... Also, I ordered these from what I remember being the oldest to the newest, so you should easily get the top few for a low price at a used game store.

Shadow Hearts: Pretty gorey series, nothing at all like Kingdom hearts. It's a turn based game with random encounters like final fantasy. It is also a lot better than final fantasy in terms of battles as everytime you attack, you have to time button pressing on something called the "Judgement Ring". Another bonus to the battle system is a third gauge called the "Sanity Meter". This drops points everytime your character takes a turn, thus meaning that you must end most battles quickly, or risk dying from instanity. Excellent game, and it's pretty long too. If you like that one, get the second one too, but I don't recommend the third.

Darkcloud 2: Prettiest game eva. Though the graphics are very cartoony, I think it adds an excellent effect. You controll two characters, each with special weapons and sub-character controlls. The game deals with time travel, and has a SIMs building element where the way you build towns in the past reflects how your future villages will look. It's fun, but the only RPG elements in it are building up your weapons and sub-characters. The battle system is ABS, though not as fluent as most ABS game are.

.hack series (NOT GU): It's four games in one, so I'd rent the first three rather than buy them. Basically, it's you playing as a character on an online game, but your character's data is corrupt and you have special powers to fix corrupt data in the game. The graphics and voice overs are poor, and the gameplay is repeatative, but the plot, characters, and battle system are all pretty fun and well deserving of note. If you're looking for a game series that will take you upwards of 100 hours, this is a good pick.

Drakengard 2: Much better than the first. It has a small reference to the first game in a few areas, but I'd recommend not wasting your time with the first one and just skipping to the second one. It's a real-time battle system like Dynasty Warriors or Zelda. You build your characters up, weapons, skills, and dragon. Yeah, you get to ride a dragon! Some ground missions, you can choose to use your steel to cut through enemies, or you can choose to take the easy way and bomb them all with fireballs from above. Some missions, you are forced to ride your dragon and take out enemy airships. The battle system is fast at times, and very slow (as some generic enemies may take minutes to kill) at times, but it has a very well balanced battle system that isn't to hard or too easy. Also, it has actual boss fights that require thought and skill to defeat, which I find rare in a lot of ABS games.

"Castlevania: Curse of Darkness" : Your general castlevania game, but instead of the objective being to kill Dracula, your objective is to kill his survant: Isaac. As an Ex survant of Dracula, you have the power to controll monsters, which act as bodyguards on your quest. There are six different types of monsters, one secert and pretty hard to get, each with their own powerful abilites. Each monster type also has around ten variations each, and there is even a variation that looks like your Osmose blackmage character. Long game with plenty to do in, but few sidequests other than item hunting. There is a lot of building up in it though: Monster building, character building, weapon building, and weapon forging. Also, there is item hunting to make weapons, and some items increase character health/hearts. Battle system is ABS.

God of War: I know you didn't need this recommended, but of the ones you have on your "Looking at list", this is the best. The second one is even better.

Other games I like a lot are the Dynasty Warriors series (five is the most recent), and RE4 (easily one of my top five favorite games).

Warning about Drakengard 2: It's repetitive as all ****.
Also, worst soundtrack ever, ever. Hire before you even consider buying.

I have Curse of Darkness for the Xbox. The game is amazing except for the fact that you RUN SO FREAKING SLOW. It was so bad I never bothered to play past the first boss.
