Vidian's Specialized Scenes

I Have decided to make little map packs for certain specialized scenes.
My first one Is a Cave opening Scene, to a field of snow.
What I have Included in the pack is:
1. The Original Cave Chipset
2. The Snow Cave Panorama
3. Battle animation of a now Drift
4. An Eskimo Character set by Maggedon
5. A Sound effect labeled: Wind
6. A Sound effect Labeled: Snow Steps
7. The Screen shot posted here /.
Now, How to use it:
Make a normal 20x15 sized map, and make the entire Map a transparent layer.
Then Set The Map's Panorama to the "Baarnaun-Opening" Panorama. (Baarnaun-Opening Is what I named the Cave)
Now make a Parallel process - name it "Winter Effect"
and Make the first thng it does:
Call weather effect: Snow = Heavy
Go Into the Database and Make the Snowdrift animation.
Then Make a few other events where you want your snow
drifts to be on the map.
Go back to Your "Winter Effect" Parallel Process and Put a small
1 or 2 second "Wait" Command after The "Snow = Heavy"
Then make a Show battle animation Effect on the events where you want it to be. Make sure you put a few seconds In between the animations. like so:
Call Weather Effect: Snow, High
Wait 1.0 s
Show Battle animation: Snow Drift, Snow Event 1
Wait 1.8 s
Show Battle animation: Snow Drift, Snow Event 2
Wait 2.0 s
Show Battle animation: Snow Drift, Snow Event 3

Now that the Graphics are done, On to sound.
Import "Wind" as a BG so It can play through the map
and repeat when its done,
Now (Only For RM2K3... If you are using RM2K, Then ignore this step and you are finished.)
If you want a sound effect when Your hero walks in the snow:
Imported "Snow Steps" as a Sound effect, Go into the database
and go to Terrain, Create a new terrain Called snow (It doesn't have to have a graphic) and hit "Alert when touch terrain"
Then Select "Snow Steps"
Then Go into the Tile set Part of the Database and make a transparent Bottom Layer with The "Snow" Terrains ID, Then Go back to your map, select the Tile With The "Snow" Terrain ID and put it over all of your snow.
Now when Your main character walks onto the snow, The sound will play.
The only problem is you can only play one sound when your walking,
You can't have variations of the Stepping on snow sound using this method, This is bad because the Snow Sound get repetitive really quickly. My Advice is When your Character walks onto the snow, Decrease his/Her speed Down Twice (2 times) From its origional speed.
It makes it look like its harder to get through the snow, and also makes the sound less annoying.
Well, Thats All for this Map, I'll Be submitting more later, when I make them on this Thread. Hope this helps!

It'd be real cool to see a gif animation of it.
I don't have any use for this, but I like the idea of it
