Why is it taking so long to load the forums? I know there are Google ads here and there but lately it has been getting worse. It took me almost a nice 3mins just to load the main page of the forums.

Im not downloading on my computer

. The only thing I have up (window wise) is FireFox and WMP listening to music.

I've been noticing this too. My guess is that it has something to do with the new server. When it's finished I expect everything'll be back to normal.

Yeah, it prolly has something to do with the new server... and what not. It might be like this for the time being, dun worry too much about it.

Protip: Charas is currently still on the same server it was three years ago (or at least not on the new server yet).

Besides, I'm not even noticing these issues. It must be your computers, all infected with computer AIDS.

Yeah, what Razor said - the new server does not affect Charas at all as you see and use it now, only after I'm finished adding in most of the 3.0 stuff, which is taking longer than it should because I'm a bad programmer.

I've always used Firefox with fasterfox plugin and enabled prefetching.
it works well but if you use it be careful with the prefecthing.
