I didn't care much for Speed Racer either. The dialog was fast and animations were quirky, and there were several still shots it seemed. Not to mention the funny way there were several problems with the plot. They might as well make a Gigantor (who looks like the Tinman on steroids) movie while they are at it. XD

Ok, I'll be honest here: I never liked The Smurfs. They were blue, half naked, had only one woman (what's going on there?), they were Communists, they freaked me out, and they were kinda boring...

But Speed Racer, I watched that crap for most of my childhood! It's kinda lousy now, but back then, I loved it!

 See, that's the problem, you don't even know about the show. The smurfs had 3 (THREE) women! The problem is that one was too old and other was too young.
