The Legen Of Zelda And The Triforce Sword
« on: January 22, 2004, 10:29:06 PM »
This is an adventure game. Link starts asleep and you wake up because of loud crashes. You head outside and see a creature tossing bombs everywhere. Link must kill it and then you find a tunnle. You go in and find a chest that transports you to a maze. go through it and you find another  chest. You opn it and find a sword. A voice says you need  10 rubies of power , 10 emralds of life and 10 saphires of peaceto use the sword. Keep the jewels and the sword away from Ganon at all costs. A wand comes from the chest. The voice continues: this is the wand of worlds. You will need it to get the dark world. Some  of the jewels are there. You get transported to your house and store the sword knowing you can't use it without the jewels. You set out on your quest.

Off topic: what's bumping topics? Never heard of it. And what's spam. I've heard of it but never knew what it was. Sorry for bumping topics. If that's what i did.

Bumping/kicking topics is when you post in a really old topic that shouldn't be posted in.

Spam is a useless post. Some people do it to get their post count up, and that's wrong.

How can we know how it is if we've never played it??

It sounds long. Im not sure if thats good or bad, but 30 stones? Thats quite a bit. And how does a sword not work? You cut stuff with a sword. Theres no way in can not work.

It is interesting though. That you have the sword and for some reason just cant use it. Most games want you to get the sword to its max power, or dont give you the uber-sword until you actually have to kill something like the final boss with it.

i think what he means is that yes, you CAN use the sword to cut, but it is pretty useless without the gems, because its power is nullified completely.
btw, blaman, you could set it up so that the more gems you get, the stronger the sword gets and you can get to the point where you can ectually use it in battle, or something like that...

The gems are EASY to get. You get them by doing the following:
Bosses
Trades
Puzzles
and many other ways. only about 5 of them come out of dungeouns. And yes, you can use it but it can't do anything good accept do the weakes stuff (I.E. Cutting grass may take 3 hits cause it's so weak.)

Ganon wants the sword, right? That's his goal, isn't it? If it's not, the storyline kinda collapses on itself.
However, I do like the way you've defied the system of classic zeldas, and made many ways to collect the gems, or  "Vitals".
In the other Zeldas, you  always collected the vitals after bosses. Be them medalions, stones, orbs, gems or essences.
