Here is my forum with all of the current information.
It's very much along in its development cycle.

What do you think?

Hey SuperPhillip, one thing I noticed about this site is you have a bunch of screens to present your game; however you tell the viewer very little about it. From what I can see you're a pretty good mapper, but that would be where the good ends.

I can't tell whether or not this is a gag game, from what you have posted it doesn't look like you have put all that much effort into it:

First off, it seems like you haven't put very much work into making your maps match up, and by that I mean: The first couple of town screens look somewhat cartoony, yet the outdoors screens have a more realistic (or whatever realistic is in RPG Maker) appearance. (Not to mention, you use a  'miniature' overworld chipset, yet you have an RTP castle and a regular sized her and sign out there.)

Another potential red flag is the great amounts of DBS screens you have posted. Understand that I personally have no problems with that; I'm currently hooked on a game that uses the DBS. However, the fact that you have such a host of these DBS screens up makes it look like you're using the DBS as the frontman of your game, I really hope that it is NOT the most interesting thing that is in it. (7 out of 20 of your screens were of the battle system)

Again, there's this whole collision of graphics in the battle system: You're using what looks like a Mega Man custom edit as your main character? And yet you use RTP edits for supporting characters. Again, minor things in the battle system are not an issue with me, but this something that stands out. Try and choose a style that you can stick with instead of having to mix and match orphan styles.

Anyway, that's my opinion if this is supposed to be a serious game. And whether it's supposed to be serious or not more 'background' information on the game as well as less focus on the DBS would probably help my pre-play view on this game.

I'll download it and see how the game play is for now.

Also, know that I am not being an ***hole, I am just giving my whole hearted honest opinion.

The battle system is just your standard fare, so no, it's not the forerunner here.

I really need to take more screens outside of battle with the new hero sprite.

As for the styles clash, I'm sort of pleased with how everything looks though regardless. The only thing that's vibrant is the hero battle sprite.

Thank you for your comments though. I will take them to heart.
Lemme know how the demo turns out. It's an old demo-- one that I forget how far it goes.
