Month of fools!?
« on: April 02, 2008, 04:20:23 PM »
It is the month of autism awareness! Now I think it's very important for people to be more aware of other people. I know there are a few oldies here and there somewhere... hiding, and a few of you might have kids. Mabbe one  out of you might have a child who seems "different" from other kids. It's best to keep an eye out for those kids who are different, the earlier you catch the signs the better it is for them to have at least... somewhat of a normal life. Please be aware, and spread the word! If this doesn't help you, it might help another!

Midnight you are such a hippy.

A hot hippy.

A hot horny hippy.

Nasty hippy.

But most of all, you are a liberal.

EDIT - Aboutasoandthis, that sucks. I know a kid with that same illness and I hate him. He's in highschool and he runs around the school halls pretending he has a needler shooting people with it. I know your pain.

Nah, my little brother's alright. Remember Asperger's is supposed to mean "highly functional." He's pretty damn cool. It's just a little hard to get his attention. Remember he's the basketball player.

Even so, you should judge an Autistic kid on his actual personality. A lot of these kids get their eccentricities from how they're raised. I remember playing chess with this one kid for a club thing. He was a nerd, and not like using this site nerd, I mean HARDCORE SICKENING. He lived for chess, and he loved that I always beat him. Nobody paid attention to him because they thought he was smart. Turns out that his dad was a nerd who was depressed at his wife leaving him, so he ended up growing up sheltered. He might've grown up a cool guy if he was in the right environment or something.

Autistic kids are cool there minds are like a pc in a way
i now this kid you can ask him any thing on football way back to the 1st game played
and he know's how the 1st ball was made he can give you all the teams  names new and old the towns what they play for the numders on there tops and if they move to a new team the day and time the teams had win or not
my sons not a Autistic kid but you ask him any name in bob the builder he let you now he is 2 coming 3 i say to him  thats speedy benny but he looks up and say's no dad thats not his name its loffty and so on he has all them i dont now the number of what he has as he gets new toys all the time as i like him to be happy but when he nows what money is he can pay for his toys
with his savings i give him  that way he will now what it's like for kid that dont get a lot of toys
geting back to the  Autistic kids my son let the kids play with his toys he help them name them

I found out recently that my favourite teacher from my old school was an aspie... Looking back it should have been obvious. He had a weird eccentricity to his teaching. Some students never understood what he was getting at, but I thought he was awesome.

Meiscool, you're just JEALOUS that my boobs are real and yours you bought. And I actually do like kids who are autistic, it's like... they see things that we ignore all the time.

And it does depend on how their raised. Most kids are just given everything, or neglected so they end up mean and spoiled. And the reason they're treated like this is because people look at them and say, oh they're retarded. We shouldn't help them or teach them anything! And it's kinda sad.

I've seen a case where the parents were letting their son come to school with shyte that's been on his body for longer then 2 hours, and he's only about 5.  Sweet boy too... ;.;

It's strange how the brain works. It's like you recieve a gift and pay a price.

And Meis, I doubt it's the 'illness' that's making him do the needler thing. If people accepted all your eccenticities because you had got a condition, you'd probably grow up to doing whatever the hell you wanted :p We only go "What the hell's that kid doing pretending he's got a needler" because that playfulness was beaten out of us as we grew up :p

Whatever it is, I'm sure there is an explaination that can be summed up without me having to write Brain Disfunction.

and... HOW DARE YOU MIDNIGHT. My tits might be store bought, but they're a hell of a lot bigger than you  :blue-eye:

EDIT - YES, I do mean 'you', not 'yours'.
