Mass Effect stole my day today
« on: May 16, 2008, 03:43:00 AM »
I woke up this morning determined that I was going to complete a few key parts of Top-Secret Project Omega today. I made a sandwich, took a shower, checked some webcomics, and noticed that it was only noon, I could play a little Mass Effect before going to work on the project.

11 and a half hours later and I recognize I'm not getting any work done on that project today.

Gaming, you are such a cruel mistress. Plus I totally picked the wrong class since I don't use biotics a whole lot, and yet they're half of a Vanguard's offensive solution. And I was also doing shitty in battles because I didn't realize that I had to specifically tell Garrus to start using sniper rifles, hence he was just being a little pistol bitch all the time.

Mass Effect looks pretty neat.  My computer's not sexcellent though and can't run it.  I think my dad's can, though.  I was watching him awhile, one of the first things that happened was he got pummeled by a Big Daddy o.o

Aren't Big Daddies and Splicers out of Mario Galaxy or something?

A game featuring more extras and minigames than anything. Endorse in hours of fun without even doing the storyline. A game with so many features it's just not right.
