I agree with Mesicool.  A prequel Golden Sun would fly off the walls of places like GameStop. People have just been waiting too long for Golden Sun 3, hell, it could be a Djinn Field guide or some crap like that and people would be all over it. I suppose some die-hard Golden Sun fans could make a Golden Sun prequel or sequel in the form a chain game or something.

ZKX, Alex was insanely powerful, he just wasn't insane.
He could: Teleport, conjure a water spout that send people flying, managed to withstand an assualt from the eye,(belive it's name was the Ancient One or something), and so much other stuff that you don't see.

Wait,wait, great idea. A Golden Sun prequel, playing as Saturos and Menardi! Wouldn't that be AWESOME! Because you never really find out about their past....

Playing as people that you know end up dying is stupid. It is one of the main easons that I hated Final Fantasy Four.

I'd probably design my own Fable. Most likely titled Fable: Hope of Ravendale. Most likely implement an experience system like Fable, but with a greater set of weapons other than generic ones with different qualities. It'd have it's own plot with possibly a reference to Jack of Blades. But on top of everything, I'd avoid such an overused plot.
