EasyRPG: RPG Maker clone written in C++
« on: August 31, 2008, 04:56:55 PM »
There is a project creating a RPG Maker 2000/2003 game interpreter, looking for portability and full compatibility. After that, the next stage is a game editor but with new file format.

Some portability tests:

LMU Viewer on DS (video):

LMU Viewer on GP2X (video):

LMU Viewer on Windows (download) with a bit more enhancements:

You can replace Map0001.lmu and Basis.bmp with another and start again the LMU map reading. It works with upper and lower layers. Event layer is still unsupported.

Source code is available. License: GPL (free). We are moving from Sourceforge.net to Gna! and the SVN repositories are a bit confusing now.

Greets!
