That was a great movie, but there was one scene that made it seem silly. Johnny Depp was supposed to kill this guy, but he took too long with his singing, then some other dude came in and ruined it. I don't remember the setup exactly, but if he hadn't been singing he would have been able to kill the guy!!!

And yes, Drag. That is very sad. =(

That is because its a musical, they are supposed to sing.  Most of the time in musicals, time is a little distorted to allow for the songs to tell the whole story.

My facts are facts. Rem kills L and Watari to save Misa's life, because they would endanger it because of the events which Light set in motion. So technically, L and Watari DID got killed by Light, but with Rem as his tool.

Rem kills L and Watari to save Misa's life, because L suspected that the 13 day rule was a fake and knew it could be used to prove Light and Misa's innocence, and was about to test it using some criminal so that he could disprove it and nail Light and Misa, figuratively speaking. So technically, L and Watari DID got killed by Light, but with Rem as his tool.
