Oh, this has happened before--they actually blew up Jack once, and stopped using him as a mascot for a while. But, they eventually brought him back...

...and he blew up the guys who had him blown up.

He'll be back. Just you wait.

See Grandy's post for the Lost relevance. That, and I just think Lost sucks, and I wish to make it known.

As for Jack... they'll probably try a new mascot, but fail miserably and go back to Jack. Not like it matters to me, because we don't have Jack in the Boxes up here.

None of those two for a buck "tacos"! Seriously! They may be a greasy mess that only bears the taco name on a technicality, but when you can get a small fortune's worth of food on a child's allowance, who cares? They have a surprisingly addictive taste that's hard to deny!
