Real-time CBS

Has anyone ever played "Dark Cloud"?
If you have, this CBS is VERY much like Dark cloud. I mean VERY much.
Basically, the combat is real time, and it makes use of lots of buttons. You get a total of 6 characters to play as, but you can only play ONE at a time. You switch between them by pressing 1-6.
There are 2 other commands: Enter to attack and Shift to defend.
Just like DC, battles only ever happen in the dungeons (So the world map is pretty empty) and the floors are randomly generated. And, once again, like DC, after every floor, you get the choice to proceed or quit.
The basic enemies just follow you around, but the bosses have very cool special attacks. The griffon can shoot lasers from above (Below).
I am also trying to incorperate spell-casting normal baddies.

Update! Spell casting badguys!
I worked out a way that lets baddies cast spells when they are a certain distance from the hero.
Below, you see the Eyeball monster using it's "Paralyzing glare!"

Misc info:
All the chipsets in the CBS (Which I hope to turn into a full fledged game) are Mack + Blue (Coulda guessed) and all the facesets are Roco.
And all the heroes are matching charsets. HAHAHA! That's right! I have charsets that match roco's faces!! HAHA! BOW DOWN!!
EVEN THE NEWER "PORTRAIT" ONES!!
