I like orchestral, some metal, classic and some VG remixes. I like some techno too. I don't like country, I don't like rap, and I don't like hip-hop or bluegrass. I'm not all that picky TBH, I just like something with a good beat.

I despise Akon. And any other artist, regardless of genre, that uses that god awful auto-tune wavy voice effect to conceal the fact that they CAN'T SING. Also, there are plenty of other music threads for this. didn't have to make a new one.

I'm sure that there are some examples of quality work, but the general world of hip hop is so bogged down with the mediocre rap about bitches, money, and spinnin' rims that I can't be assed to swamp through the mess to try and recover the few gems that still exist. If someone finds one and shares it with me, I'll take it as a gracious gift, but I'm far too busy spending time in an area with a more positive great-to-*** ratio.

This also applies to the world of modern punk rock. I can't stand it anymore.

And tmerrill, lighten up. You'll get nowhere with that attitude. You're taking far too much bullshit to heart. Once again, I'm no doctor, but I can't see anything good occurring from having even a little bit of bullshit in your heart. A lot can only be lethal.
