I finished my english training.
« on: April 27, 2009, 11:59:09 AM »
Now I have a piece of paper which can prove I speak english. That's more than most native speakers have.

You can'ts get into the countrys if you ain't don't got the language talk right, good?

Also, I hope your time spent on Charas has helped you with your English a bunch, because then I would feel like I've had an impact on your life to some extent.

I mean, moreso than what impact I've already had on your life. Which is massive.

Congratulations. I don't have any papers that can prove anything about me. Well, except that I was born. That's always a good one to have, I suppose.

I don't think Pablo's speaking Spanish. I think he's just making up syllables.

soudesuka? boku mo. Nanensei desuka?
そうですか? 私も。 何年生ですか?
私は一年生、でも八ヶ月にべんきょする
日本語を読むか?
かんじも読むか?
私はちょうとかんじが分かる。
You wouldn't happen to be using the Nakama book would you? It's not often that people learn polite form first.

このなつみに、いしょにべんきょしますよ!
(This summer we should study together.)

Sorry if I laid it on a bit thick.

Also, after the first nihongo, you should put WO instead of DE; both are technically right, but WO sounds better. (*"I study japanese" opposed to X "I study by means of japanese.")

I know "so desu ka" means "Is that so?", but the rest got me stumped. At any rate, the new class semms to focus more in the polite form because it can be used anywhere without being embarassing.

How do you type those?

The Kanji, or in gana?

Also, I typed this:

Is that so? What year student are you?
I am a first year student, but I have been studying for eight months.
Can you read Japanese?
Can you read Kanji?
I can understand a little kanji.

They say teaching is one of the best ways to learn, I'll gladly help you out if you need it. :D

The kanji.

I'm a first week student. XD Can't read much, other than the words for Eat, Drink, Talk, Work, Me, Father, Mother, White, Black, Strawhat (take a wild guess why I know this one), "Is that so" and "Please"

Hey, that was just me writing word by word the way my teacher said we should write. >_>
Then again, if I followed my english teachers to the core, I would still be adressing to people as "Gentlemen"

Granted, that last one is a little mean...
