Oh, I don't know Japanese. I can only parrot several ever-famous phrases from hentai anime, so I know what 'Iku', 'yare yare daze', 'oppai', and 'ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORAA!' mean. I barely count as a weaboo in that respect.

Also: I've never had pocky. What that has to do with language, I have no idea. C'est la vie.

Then again, if I followed my english teachers to the core, I would still be adressing to people as "Gentlemen"
HOW ARE YOU GENTLEMEN.

Now I have a piece of paper which can prove I speak english. That's more than most native speakers have.

I just wrote "I can speak English" on a sheet of paper and signed it. It meets all of the standards ironically.

Edit:

俺の日本語はよくない - Ore no nihongo wa yokunai

D:

Agree?

What's with all the recent usage (or rather "misusage") of "irony" lately?

Ironic, isn't it?
:P
And I am well aware that technically, we are misusing it, but I don't really care, as that's the common usage nowadays.

I used irony in the correct way recently.

I used irony in a correct way recently.
Apparently, Irony is a literary term, where the audience is aware of things beyond the characters that the characters themselves do not know about.
Such as the end of Romeo and Juliet, when Juliet kills herself because Romeo killed himself because he though Juliet was dead.
So yeah...technically we aren't using it correctly.
But the meanings of words can change, so yeah...now, according to todays standards, we are using it correctly.

EDIT: Also, I'm wrong, according to wiki.
Damn

Wait, wouldn't ironic be more-so if it was the same guy that said it. Not two different people? Saying one thing and meaning/doing another?

That would be "hypocrisy", Dark.

Also, as stated in my very recent edit, my definition was wrong.
I'll try to understand the rhetorical philosophy later, right now I got school shtuff.
