The new Star Trek was, indeed, quite good. I generally don't like unoriginality but I do approve of the whole Batman Begins / Star Trek idea of restarting a series and doing it right this time. If movies are going to be of that quality, by all means, bring on more.

There are probably a dozen or more Star Wars quotes that you could say in casual conversation and people would immediately recognize as being from Star Wars. Not sure you could say that about too many other movies. A lot of it is pretty cheesy, but hey, it's all good fun.

Yeah those Star Wars movies sure were great. It's a shame they only made three.

But yes I liked the last 3 much moer that the original 3 thoughI wish they would have focused more on the clone wars.

And back on topic. I really liked the new star trek movie. Im not really a trekky, but this movie was great quality and I thought they nailed it when casting someone to play as Dr. Mcoy.
